Apparatuses, computer-readable media, and methods for obtaining and presenting a user wager in addition to an integrated media stream comprising media feeds of a selection of sporting events that are available for wagering via a sportsbook application are described. For instance, a processing system including at least one processor may obtain a first user wager associated with a first sporting event via at least one interface screen of the sportsbook wagering application, present, via the at least one interface screen, an integrated media stream comprising media feeds of a selection of sporting events from among a plurality of sporting events, where each of the selection of sporting events is associated with a respective media feed and is also available for at least one type of wagering via the sportsbook wagering application, where the selection of sporting events includes the first sporting event, and present, via the at least one interface screen, the first user wager in addition to the integrated media stream.

Apparatus and methods are developed that facilitate the control and streaming of multiple video streams. The apparatus and methods may include a video management system (VMS) that includes a VMS server device, a VMS client device, and a VMS graphical user interface (GUI) device. The VMS server device may be configured to receive multiple video streams and store them in memory. The VMS GUI device may be configured to provide commands to the VMS client device relating to the video streams accessible by the VMS server device. The VMS GUI device may also query a VMS server device for available video streams or for metadata related to a particular video stream. The VMS client device may be configured to receive the commands from the VMS GUI device and transmit commands to the VMS server device based on the commands received from the VMS GUI device.

A method including: accessing a first configuration; accessing a primary video stream comprising a first set of video content, from a first online video platform; accessing a secondary video stream comprising a second set of video content; and at an initial time, combining the primary video stream and the secondary video stream according to the default viewing arrangement; at a first time, detecting the first trigger event in the primary video stream; in response to detecting the first trigger event, combining the primary video stream and the secondary video stream according to the first target viewing arrangement, and publishing the first composite video to a second video platform; and at a second time, detecting the second trigger event in the secondary video stream; in response to detecting the second trigger event, combining the primary video stream and the secondary video stream according to the second target viewing arrangement.

Systems, methods, and devices enabling scalability to be incorporated into a media presentation such that the media presentation at a client end may be continuous or at least substantially continuous in the presence of missing segment files. In an embodiment, the loss of one or more segment file may not require a media presentation interval associated with the missing segment file to be skipped at the client end. Systems, methods, and devices enable scalability in live streaming and/or on-demand presentations.

The actual “insert” of the local commercial or message into the digital program is performed by a standard set top box, with several methods of providing the local commercial to the set top box at the proper insertion time. Another embodiment allows a cable operator to significantly save on equipment in the form of splicers and ad inserters, by allowing easy and dynamic mapping of local commercials to insertion zones.

A device is provided that includes memory storing processor-executable instructions; and at least one processor in communication with the memory that executes the stored instructions to: receive, from at least one user on the vehicle, at least one request for data communication; identify a plurality of communication links available at a current location of the moving vehicle; form an adaptive bonded communication link using the plurality of communication links to aggregate throughput across the plurality of communication links for the requested data communication, wherein the adaptive bonded communication link is configured to adapt to data communication requirements for the requested data communication and to data communication characteristics of the plurality of communication links as the vehicle moves. Devices, systems, methods and computer-readable media are provided for data communication to and from a vehicle. A device is provided that includes memory storing processor-executable instructions; and at least one processor in communication with the memory that executes the stored instructions to: receive, from at least one user on the vehicle, at least one request for data communication; identify a plurality of communication links available at a current location of the moving vehicle; form an adaptive bonded communication link using the plurality of communication links to aggregate throughput across the plurality of communication links for the requested data communication, wherein the adaptive bonded communication link is configured to adapt to data communication requirements for the requested data communication and to data communication characteristics of the plurality of communication links as the vehicle moves.
