Disclosed is a live broadcast method and apparatus that may effectively remove delay of a guest broadcast output from a guest side by generating and transmitting an audio of a host and an audio of a guest as individual elementary streams (ESs) in a simultaneous live broadcast transmitted by mixing a host broadcast stream and a guest broadcast stream.

A broadcaster device generates a live stream including video-based commentary regarding a live event combined with an audio and/or video feed of the live event itself. A viewer device receives a copy of the integrated live event and commentator stream and synchronized event information (e.g., real-time scores), and displays the integrated stream and the event information (e.g., as a “scorebug”). Viewers of a given live event may seamlessly select amongst different broadcasters for the same live event to access different integrated live event and commentator streams respectively synchronized with the event information. A social media platform is provided in tandem with live streaming of digital content relating to live events to allow a given broadcaster and their associated viewers to communicate with one another, comment on the event and/or the broadcaster's live stream, and send digital gifts.

Systems and methods of the present disclosure provide for dynamic delay equalization of related media signals in a media transport system. Methods include receiving a plurality of related media signals, transporting the related media signals along different media paths, calculating uncorrected propagation delays for the media paths, and delaying each of the related media signals by an amount related to the difference between the longest propagation delay (of the uncorrected propagation delays) and the uncorrected propagation delay of the related media signal/media path. Calculating the uncorrected propagation delays and delaying the related media signals may be performed in response to a change to the propagation delay of at least one of the related media signals/media paths. Additionally or alternatively, calculating the uncorrected propagation delays and delaying the related media signals may be performed while transporting the related media signals.

Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a live streaming method and system, a server, and a computer storage medium. The method includes: providing, by a first end for information interaction, a first audio/video live stream for a server, and providing, by a second end for information interaction, a second audio/video live stream for the server. The method further includes performing, by the server, coding and processing on the first audio/video live stream and the second audio/video live stream, to obtain a third audio/video live stream, and pushing the third audio/video stream to a third end for information interaction; and receiving, by the third end, audio/video content of the first end and the second end according to the third audio/video live stream.

Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a live streaming method and system, a server, and a computer storage medium. The method includes: providing, by a first end for information interaction, a first audio/video live stream for a server, and providing, by a second end for information interaction, a second audio/video live stream for the server. The method further includes performing, by the server, coding and processing on the first audio/video live stream and the second audio/video live stream, to obtain a third audio/video live stream, and pushing the third audio/video stream to a third end for information interaction; and receiving, by the third end, audio/video content of the first end and the second end according to the third audio/video live stream.

A video receiver apparatus, for receiving video from a video transmitter apparatus, comprises: a memory portion for memorizing receiver apparatus information of the video receiver apparatus; and a transmitter/receiver portion for receiving a request for obtaining the receiver apparatus information transmitted from the video transmitter apparatus, and also for transmitting the receiver apparatus information memorized in the memory portion responding to the obtaining request, and wherein, further within the memory portion is memorized history information, changing depending on alternation of the receiver apparatus information, and wherein the receiver portion is able to receive the history information, which the video transmitter apparatus holds therein, as well as, the obtaining request from the video transmitter, and when the received history information from the video transmitter apparatus and the history information, which the video transmitter apparatus holds therein, are inconsistent with each other, then the receiver apparatus information memorized in the memory portion is transmitted to the video transmitter apparatus.

The invention relates to a method for packaging media and data for transmission over a broadband communications network link for display at a terminal destination. Features of the method included creating desired media segments for transmission to the terminal destination and for creating targeting information, for example in whole or in part in the form of metadata, for transmission to the terminal destination. Other features include packaging the created media segments and the created targeting information in a single package and unpacking the single package for display of the targeted media at the terminal destination. In another aspect, the invention can provide a method for unpacking media and data for display at a terminal destination implementing, at the terminal destination, receiving a single package containing media segments and instructions regarding handling of the media segments, quickly unpacking the media segments and the instructions from the single package and, based on the unpacked instructions, assembling one or more of the media segments for display at the terminal destination.
