ENTERPRISE CONTENT GATEWAY
The disclosure relates to content delivery systems such as gateways for use in locations where the services of many end user devices are provided by a common management entity, such as hospitality, dormitory, healthcare, or other enterprise settings. The disclosure includes methods of initializing a gateway configuration and operating a gateway by ingesting content from a variety of signals (satellite, broadcast, cable, and IP), processing the content to have additional desired features, and reassembling content in various forms for delivery to individual end user devices.
Providing risk based subscriber enhancements
A method and system may input telemetry into a data structure. The telemetry may comprise a plurality of measurement results or other data collected from remote network nodes. Subscriber use metrics may be determined from the telemetry. From the use metrics and habits of the subscriber, user characteristics may be determined. A likelihood of service cancellation, based on the user characteristics, may be estimated in an embodiment. In another embodiment, a likelihood of receiving an inquiry from the subscriber at a subscriber support center may be estimated. Service enhancements may be proactively provided to the subscriber, based on the telemetry, the subscriber use metrics and the user characteristics in advance of service cancellation or receiving the inquiry. Last mile equipment may provide telemetry. The last mile equipment may include set top boxes, cellular phones, tablets and the like.
SERVER-SIDE GAMING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THE DELIVERY OF REMOTELY-RENDERED CONTENT COMPRISING IMPRESSION CONTENT
A server-side gaming method performed by a framework for monitoring the delivery of remotely-rendered content to a user device. The framework comprises a provisioning server for generating and managing impression content, a remote server for generating a plurality of frames of remotely-rendered content that comprise gaming content and the impression content, and an API, for sending and receiving data between the user device and the remote server. The method comprising obtaining received frame information from the user device, using the API, that represents the frames of remotely-rendered content received by the user device. It is determined whether the received frame information comprises data relating to a new frame, where the new frame comprising new gaming content and new impression content. Based on the determination, an indication that the new impression content has been received at the user device is sent from the remote server to the provisioning server.
Determining a part having an anomaly in equipment and initiating an electronic transaction for replacing the part using a three-dimensional (3D) model of the equipment
A system and method for determining a part having an anomaly in equipment and initiating electronic transaction for placing order to replace the part using three-dimensional (3D) model of equipment. The system inspects equipment to identify type of equipment and requests a data storage device storing 3D models of equipment to provide matching 3D models corresponding to equipment identified. The system utilizes various technologies to determine relative location of anomaly indicative of failing/failed part in equipment. The system overlays 3D image map from the 3D model to identify specific part/assembly/subassembly within the 3D model corresponding to the relative location of the anomaly. The system identifies additional parts associated with the failing/failed part as a kit in the 3D image map, and adds the kit to virtual shopping cart for initiating electronic transaction in reference to the kit depicted in the 3D model of equipment for replacement of the failing/failed part.
Methods and systems for content synchronization
Methods and systems are described for content synchronization. A computing device may receive video content and audio content. The computing device may determine an error associated with a video content output time or an audio content output time.
REMOTE MASTER CONTROL ROOM MONITORING
A method for monitoring video streams is proposed, which comprises: generating, by one or more source encoders, encoded multimedia content signals based on the encoding of monitored video streams respectively corresponding to one or more monitoring points along a workflow chain of a video broadcasting headend configured for one or more video channels broadcasted by the headend, and transmitting the encoded multimedia content signals to a remote monitoring device through a content distribution network.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING CONTENT DISTRIBUTION TO AN IN-TRANSIT MEDIA SYSTEM
Systems and methods for dynamically multiplexing requested linear media channels and network data on forward link traffic streams of a communication link to a craft media delivery system are provided. Furthermore, systems and methods for receiving dynamically multiplexed requested linear media channels and network data on forward link traffic streams of a communication link by a craft media delivery system are also provided.
Transport stream automatic change over
A device, system, and method perform an automatic change over for transport streams. The method is performed at an output server. The method includes selecting a first transport stream. The method includes generating a first portion of an output based on the first transport stream. The method includes selecting a second transport stream. The method includes determining a frametime to synchronize first packets of the first transport stream to second packets of the second transport stream. The frametime is based on a start time of a content item included in the first transport stream and the second transport stream and a completed progression of the content item using the first transport stream. The method includes determining a location in the second transport stream based on the frametime. The method includes generating a second portion of the output based on the second transport stream starting at the location.
IPDR communication system for virtualized core sources
A system includes vCores and a messaging system to receive IPDR data. The IPDR data from the messaging system is transmitted by an IPDR exporter to an IPDR collector.
CORRECTING FOR ERRORS IN VIDEO CONTENT RECEIVED BY AN ONLINE SYSTEM FROM A USER EXCHANGING VIDEO CONTENT WITH OTHER USERS
When an online system creates a video exchange session where video content is presented to users participating in the video exchange session, the online system detects an error in video content received from a user, such as lag in the video content received from the user. In response to detecting the error in the video content from the user, the online system generates synthetic media from video content previously received from the user. The synthetic media synchronizes with audio included in the video content from the user and replaces at least a portion of the video content received from the user with the synthetic media. Other users participating in the video exchange receive the video content from the user replaced with the synthetic media to prevent the other users from noticing the error in the video content from the user.
