Dynamic playout buffer for disparate live media output stream
A system is provided for publishing first programming schedule that references at least one or more pre-encoded media assets and/or one or more live input streams, and comprises one or more playout buffer features enabled via one or more constraints and rights. Each playout buffer feature of the one or more playout buffer features is associated with corresponding number of media segments that represents the one or more pre-encoded media assets and/or one or more live input streams. A request is received that comprises at least a stream identifier and at least an additional parameter. In accordance with a playout buffer feature from the one or more playout buffer features and at least the additional parameter, manifest data and indexed metadata of one or more media segments associated with stream identifier is inserted to first disparate live media output stream manifest and first disparate live media output stream is generated.
Method for establishing co-hosting in live-streaming, and terminal
A method for establishing co-hosting in live-streaming is disclosed. The method includes: displaying a co-host mode setting portal in a live-streaming room of a first user account; displaying a first co-host mode, a second co-host mode, a third co-host mode in response to a trigger operation on the co-host mode setting portal, and the second user account is a viewer account in the live-streaming room; and determining a selected co-host mode as a target co-host mode for the live-streaming room in response to a select operation on any one of the first co-host mode, the second co-host mode, and the third co-host mode.
System and process for controlling a computerized entertainment property playlist
Disclosed is a process and a system for controlling a computerized entertainment property playlist comprising registering a user and also registering an owner of the entertainment property. Next, the user can select, or allow a system to select on their behalf, entertainment property units owned by the owner, to be played on a playlist. Next, the system can be configured to store information relating to the registered user, the registered owner, and the media units in at least one database. Next, process can result in exporting the playlist via instructions sent by a microprocessor to at least one additional database. Next, the system can involve playing the entertainment property, or syncing multiple entertainment properties, on the playlist. Finally the system can involve rewarding the user based upon a number of units played of the media units and a duration of play of each of these media units.
System and method for media segment identification
A system and method for identifying media segments using audio augmented image cross-comparison is disclosed, in which a media segment identifying system analyses both audio and video content, producing a unique identifier to compare with previously identified media segments in a media segment database. The characteristic landmark-linked-image-comparisons are constructed by first identifying an audio landmark. The audio landmark is an audio peak that exceeds a predetermined threshold. Two digital images are then obtained, one associated directly with the audio landmark, and one obtained a predetermined landmark time removed from the first image. The two images are then used to provide a characteristic landmark-linked-image-comparison. The pair of images are reduced in pixel size and converted to gray scale. Corresponding pixels are compared to form a numeric comparison. One image is mirrored before comparison to reduce the possibility of null comparisons.
Remote virtual reality viewing of an event using crowdsourcing
A mechanism is provided for remote virtual reality viewing of an event using crowdsourcing. Each video perspective of a plurality of video perspectives of the event is analyzed to identify content and context of the event. A digital virtual reality (VR) experience (VRX) token stream of each video perspective of the plurality of video perspectives is produced based on the identified content and the identified context of the event. Responsive to a remote user initiating a viewing of a virtual reality presentation of the event, a set of digital VRX token streams of the event is presented to the remote user. Responsive to the remote user selecting one digital VRX token stream of the set of digital VRX token streams, the selected digital VRX token stream is presented to the remote user in a virtual reality format.
INTELLIGENT AUTOMATED ASSISTANT FOR TV USER INTERACTIONS
Systems and processes are disclosed for controlling television user interactions using a virtual assistant. In an example process, a virtual assistant can interact with a television set-top box to control content shown on a television display. Speech input for the virtual assistant can be received from a device with a microphone. The speech input can comprise a query associated with content shown on the television display. A user intent of the query can be determined based on one or more of the content shown on the television display and a viewing history of media content. A result of the query can be caused to be displayed based on the determined user intent.
AGGREGATED MEDIA RIGHTS PLATFORM
In one embodiment, a processing device receives a first digital fingerprint of a media item along with a first content management rule. The processing device separately receives a second digital fingerprint of the media item along with a second content management rule. The processing device determines that the received digital fingerprints are for the same media item based upon a match between the first digital fingerprint and the second digital fingerprint. The processing device determines that all rights to the media item have been accounted for, and then determines a set of actions to be performed for hosted media items comprising the media item based at least in part upon the first content management rule and the second content management rule. Processing logic may also perform a conflict resolution process for conflicting rights claims to the media item.
METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING VIDEO CODE STREAM
A method, apparatus, and system for detecting a video bitstream, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are disclosed. The method may include: receiving a first feature value generated by a source node which transmits a video bitstream, where the first feature value is feature information of the video bitstream generated by the source node according to a preset rule; receiving a second feature value generated by another node which transmits the video bitstream, where the second feature value is feature information of the video bitstream generated by the another node according to the preset rule; determining whether the first feature value is consistent with the second feature value via comparison; and generating an alarm in response to a comparison result that the first feature value is inconsistent with the second feature value.
METHOD FOR TRACKING DIGITAL ASSETS VIA STATISTICAL STEGANOGRAPHY
A method automatically detects digital assets embedded into video frames or images. Each digital asset includes a plurality of embedded graphical representation elements with each element embedding an individual character of the digital asset’s unique identification code. The video frames or images are automatically scanned for the presence of embedded graphical representation elements with each detected element decoded to extract its individual character. The resultant extracted characters are then statistically analyzed in an attempt to reconstruct the digital asset’s unique identification code.
