Disclosed herein is a system for providing a live commerce integrated solution comprising a broadcast terminal configured to film a live broadcast for product sales, a viewer terminal configured to stream the live broadcast, and a manager server configured to provide a live broadcast platform to be accessed by the broadcast terminal and the viewer terminal.

A communications system supports transactions through seat video display units (SVDUs) and/or passenger electronic devices (PEDs) onboard aircraft. A ground-based server uploads to an aircraft server a set of promotions and associated criteria, where each criteria defines a condition that must be satisfied before transactions can be completed to obtain an associated one of the promotions. The ground-based server receives reports containing promotion usage metrics from the aircraft server, determines whether any of the criteria conditions are satisfied based on the promotion usage metrics, and when one of the criteria conditions associated with a satisfied one of the promotions is determined to be satisfied, sends a notification to the aircraft server that authorizes completion of the transactions for the satisfied one of the promotion. The vehicle server promotes the set of promotions and sends reports containing promotion usage metrics to the ground-based server.

A server is operable to receive a media device identifying number (ID) and establish an association between a media device and a payment account and, in one embodiment, supports at least one of payment authorization and payment clearing based at least in part on the media device ID and the payment account. A network and system includes a payment card processor server that is operable to receive a payment authorization request and to determine if an authorized media device generated a purchase selection message and to determine to approve a received payment authorization request based, in part, if the media device was authorized for the purchase selection based upon a received media device ID.

A system receives, from a first user device associated with a giver, a request for a video-on-demand (VOD) gift, wherein the request identifies a recipient and a VOD selection. The system creates a billing event corresponding to the VOD gift, for an account associated with the giver, and generates a coupon code for the VOD gift. The coupon code is associated with the identified recipient and the VOD selection. The system sends, to a second user device associated with the recipient, an indication of the VOD gift that includes the coupon code. The system receives, from a third user device associated with the recipient, the coupon code and provides, to the third user device, information to enable access to VOD content corresponding to the coupon code.

In accordance with the technique described herein, a home shopping content suitable for a specific viewer can be dynamically selected and provided using viewing histories of a home shopping channel. Particularly, a home shopping content in which a large number of viewers are interested can be provided by dynamically selecting a home shopping content using product classification groups specified for receivers using an interest index calculated based on a bounce rate defined by the technique described herein.

A sales administration system that manages online sales via overlays on a video stream. Customers can comment on or respond to the video stream, and may order products using simple phrases such as “Sold”. The system can stream video with overlays to multiple clients simultaneously, including websites and mobile apps. Comments from all clients are received, aggregated, processed for orders, and displayed to the sales administrator. The system is coupled to a merchant's operational data, providing immediate visibility to changes in inventory and orders. Video overlays may be updated automatically by the system as this operational data changes, for example highlighting products with low stock. The system may analyze customer comments and orders both during the video stream and after the sales session is complete, and may generate recommendations to improve sales effectiveness. For backorders, customers may preauthorize charges to be at the front of the queue for shipment.

Disclosed is a system and method for distributing media content. The system can include a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory stores executable instructions for causing the processor to detect a stamp key embedded in the media content, and request an ad stamp associated with the stamp key. The stamp key may comprise a unique digital key for the ad stamp. The memory can further cause the processor to communicatively connect to a user system and a content system. The content system may be configured to distribute the media content. The user system may comprise a display and may be configured to receive the ad stamp and present the ad stamp on the display.

Systems and methods for configuring devices are disclosed. One method can comprise receiving an output signal representing user rights relating to a requested data and processing the output signal to generate validation data. The method can also comprise transmitting the validation data to a source of the requested data, wherein the validation data facilitates the transmission of the requested data.

Disclosed is a system and method for distributing media content including an engagement system including a stamp server, the stamp server including a memory and a processor, a content system including a content server, the content server including a memory and a processor, and a user system communicatively connected to the engagement system and the content system, the user system configured to receive a stamp from at least one of the engagement system and the content system, and present the stamp and a stamp indicator on a display of the user system.
