The method described herein for issuing multimedia content comprises: receiving push content associated with a user, the push content being generated based on an the occurrence of a personalized event associated with the user; presenting the push content to the user, the push content comprising video content related to the personalized event; and issuing multimedia content associated with the personalized event based on an operation on the push content by the user, the multimedia content being generated based on the push content. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, it can effectively help a user to create multimedia content associated with a personalized event, reduce the time cost for the user, and can effectively guide interaction between users, thereby improving user experience.

An example apparatus includes processor circuitry; characteristic identifier instructions to be executed by the processor circuitry to determine whether respective ones of respondents are associated with a characteristic; recapture probability estimator instructions to be executed by the processor circuitry to select a recapture probability of the respective ones of respondents; and population estimator instructions to be executed by the processor circuitry to in response to the recapture probability satisfying a recapture threshold, determine a population estimate having the characteristics based on a first model; and in response to the recapture probability not satisfying the recapture threshold, determine the population estimate having the characteristics based on a second model, the second model different than the first model.

Technologies for implementing embedding interactive content into a shareable online video. The technologies include an authoring tool including a graphical user interface (GUI). The tool can be used to input an edit decision list (EDL) file and a video file that has a video. The GUI can provide a view of specific scenes of the video according to the EDL file and the video file. The GUI can also provide interactive features. Through the GUI and/or the tool, a selection of a scene of the specific scenes can be inputted as well as a selection of an interactive feature from the interactive features can be inputted. Then, the tool can embed the selected interactive feature into the selected scene at a selected specific spatial location in the selected scene. The tool can also output the video file with the embedded interactive feature.

In accordance with some implementations, a method for measuring viewership of media content is disclosed. The method is performed on a client system. The client system obtains identification information for individuals who have agreed to participate in a media viewership totals measurement study, detects a first user of the client system, determines media content being presented in proximity to the first user, automatically determines if the first user is an individual who has agreed to participate in the media viewership totals measurement study; and generates viewership data according to the determination.

A method of providing a menu for accessing media assets may include defining a new a menu for accessing media assets, loading a menu template from storage, the loaded menu template comprising a plurality of menu items, for each menu item among the plurality of menu items, determining if visibility criteria specified for the menu item are met, upon determining that the visibility criteria specified for the menu item are met, adding the menu item to the menu, otherwise excluding the menu item from the menu, and displaying the menu.

A system may selectively deliver interactive portions of a piece of content, based for example on a recipient user's historical tendency to use interactive portions of prior content. Multiple levels of interactivity may be defined for a given piece of content, such as an advertisement, and different users may receive different levels of interactivity based on how much they use interactive features. Some users may receive no interactive features at all, while others may receive the interactive features, and despite the fact that all of the users' devices may be perfectly capable of processing the interactive features for the user. The omission from transmission may conserve bandwidth and transmission resources.
