Methods and systems for generating and providing program guides and content
Systems and methods for identifying, assembling, and publishing content are described. A a video content item, having a first time length, is identified by a system to be included in a program scheduled for a first time period. The video may be hosted on a third party system. A first time span within the first program is allocated for the video, wherein the first time span is longer than the first time length. The system determines, prior to or at the first time period, a time difference between a current length of the video and the first time span. At least partly in response to determining that the video has a time length shorter than the first time span, the system selects supplemental content based at least in part of the determined time difference to be streamed to user terminals over a data network within the first time period.

Synchronizing playback of segmented video content across multiple video playback devices
Playback devices may receive video content and an age of a playlist associated with the video content. A playback device may use the age of the playlist to schedule output of video fragments of the video content. The playback device may adjust the output of the video content until an actual output time of a video fragment is substantially the same as the scheduled output time for the video fragment.

Methods, systems, and media for object grouping and manipulation in immersive environments
Methods, systems, and media for object grouping and manipulation in immersive environments are provided. In some embodiments, a method can include: displaying a plurality of virtual objects in an immersive environment; generating a group virtual object that includes a first virtual object and a second virtual object, the group virtual object including a handle interface element for interacting with the group virtual object and a selectable indicator associated with the first virtual object and the second virtual object; displaying the group virtual object along with the handle interface element and the selectable indicator in the immersive environment; and in response to detecting a selection of the selectable indicator, displaying a user interface for interacting with the group virtual object.

Multimedia content steering
The disclosed computer-implemented method includes accessing information related to a playback session in which at least a portion of requested multimedia content is streamed over a network to a client electronic device. The method further includes accessing network topology information for the network to identify which route through the network was used to provide the requested multimedia content during the playback session, including indicating which end node was used to provide the multimedia content. Still further, the method includes accessing network steering factors that indicate why the requested multimedia content was steered through the identified network route, determining, based on the network steering factors, which end node would have been more suited to providing the requested multimedia content for the playback session, and then transferring the requested multimedia content to the determined end node for provisioning during subsequent playback sessions. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

System to monitor and manage integrated receiver decoders
An integrated network receiver includes a first universal resource identifier for a first channel and an input suitable for receiving a first input video content from the Internet based upon the first universal resource identifier. The integrated network receiver provides the first input video content for the first channel to a head end connected to a plurality of customer devices through a transmission network. The integrated network receiver updating the first universal resource identifier based upon data obtained from a video address server.
Switching Between Transmitting a Preauthored Video Frame and a Composited Video Frame
A method includes transmitting a first preauthored video frame of a plurality of preauthored video frames to a client device. The first preauthored video frame is associated with a preauthored media object. The method includes providing a request for a composited video frame to an interactive source device. The request includes a temporal characteristic associated with the first preauthored video frame. The method includes, in response to providing the request, obtaining, from the interactive source device, the composited video frame including customizable video content and preauthored video content. The preauthored video content is associated with a portion of the preauthored media object based on the temporal characteristic. The method includes, in response to detecting that the first preauthored video frame and the composited video frame together satisfy a switching condition, transmitting the composited video frame to the client device after transmitting the first preauthored video frame to the client device.
