A method and an apparatus for adjusting a view for a target device, an electronic device, and a computer-readable medium are provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure. A specific implementation of the method includes: determining whether a currently playing video is a video of a first type in response to detecting a change of a posture of the target device; and adjusting a display direction of the video-stream-play view to match the posture of the target device and adjusting a display position and/or transparency of the at least one video-stream-play interactive control in response to determining that the currently playing video is the video of the first type. This implementation achieves matching of the view with the posture of the target device and enhances adaptability of the video-stream-play interactive control with the adjusted video-stream-play view.

A set top/back box and system and method for providing a remote control device are disclosed. In one embodiment, one or more wireless transceivers are located within a housing, which also interconnectively includes television input/output, a processor, and memory. The set top/back box may establish a pairing with a programmable device, such as a proximate wireless-enabled interactive handheld device having a touch screen display, whereby formatted parallel audiovisual experience instructions, including virtual buttons, may be transmitted to the programmable device for display on the touch screen display to create an experience parallel to the experience on the television. The set top/back box receives and processes virtual remote control functionality input instructions from the programmable device to control amenities associated with the set top/back box.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, generating a video scene adapted to establish an ambiance setting and providing the video scene to equipment of a user for presentation at a display device. A visual focus is detected of the user towards presentation of the video scene displayed proximate to the user and the video scene is modified responsive to the visual focus. The modifying of the video scene is adapted to discourage visual focus of the user towards the presentation of the video scene. Other embodiments are disclosed.

The disclosure provides an animation configuration method and a display device. The display device includes: a screen; a rotating component for driving the screen to rotate; and a controller. The controller is configured to receive a command for rotating the screen from a user, control the rotating component to drive the screen to rotate, monitor component rotation information of the rotating component, and configure a rotation animation based on the component rotation information.

One or more processors of an electronic device detect a communication device electronically in communication with a content presentation companion device operating as a primary display for the electronic device and including a first ultra-wide band component. The one or more processors determine, with a second ultra-wide band tag component carried by the electronic device, a distance between the electronic device and the content presentation companion device using an ultra-wide band ranging process. The one or more processors dynamically enhance an audio performance characteristic of the content presentation companion device as a function of the distance between the electronic device and the content presentation companion device.

The method of building a virtual reality (VR) environment includes building the VR environment as formatted video content; defining at least one interactive overlay; and providing the at least one interactive overlay with a position information on a viewpoint of the VR environment.

To avoid damage from overheating, playback device operation can be modulated based on input from temperature sensors. An example method includes obtaining, via one or more temperature sensors carried by the playback device, temperature data. Based on the temperature data, a first temperature parameter is detected. In response to detecting the first temperature parameter, a gain of audio playback is decreased by a first amount. After decreasing the gain of audio playback by the first amount, a second temperature parameter is detected. In response to detecting the second temperature parameter, the gain of audio playback is decreased by a second amount different than the first amount.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, detecting, by a processing system including a processor, a transmission of a signal that identifies an advertisement, transmitting, by the processing system, a first indication of having detected the signal, and transmitting, by the processing system, a second indication of a status of the processing system when the signal is detected. A display device and a control method therefor are disclosed. According to the disclosure, the display device comprises: a sensor for sensing the surrounding environmental state; an inputter for receiving a user command for content conversion; an outputter for outputting content corresponding to the user command; and a processor for controlling the outputter such that screen brightness and/or audio output strength of second content corresponding to the user command is changed and outputted, when the user command is inputted, on the basis of the sensed surrounding environmental state and/or output information of currently outputted first content. Therefore, the display device can variously output an output of content image and/or audio according to the surrounding environmental state.

Different functional views for a mobile device are provided depending on orientation of the device. The mobile device includes an enclosure and a display disposed within the enclosure, wherein the display presents a functional view to a user when the device is positioned in a first orientation and a second functional view when the display is rotated to a second orientation.
