Systems and methods for displaying media content and media guidance information
A system comprises television equipment and a number of portable electronic devices. The television equipment includes a large display and control circuitry. The control circuitry receives media content and media guidance data for display on the display. The control circuitry also includes communication components for communicating with the portable electronic devices. The portable electronic devices are operable for displaying video and communicating with the television equipment. A method comprises the steps of receiving media guidance information with a first portable electronic device; transmitting at least some of the media guidance information from the first portable electronic device to the control circuitry of the television equipment; and displaying the media guidance information from the first portable electronic device on the display of the television equipment while simultaneously displaying media content or media guidance information received from a source other than the first portable electronic device.
Decoding device, reception device, transmission device, transmission/reception system, decoding method, and storage medium having decoding program stored therein
To provide: a decoding device that decodes and replays, in a suitable order, sequentially transmitted information; a reception device; a transmission/reception system; a decoding method; and a storage medium having the decoding program stored therein. A decoding unit 21 that decodes packets sent from a transmission device 10. A decoding order determination unit 22 determines the order of packets to be decoded by the decoding unit 21, on the basis of adjustment information that is included in the packet and corresponds to a time adjustment for making Coordinated Universal Time approach Universal Time. The packets include order information indicating the order in the same IP data flow. The decoding order determination unit 22 determines, on the basis of the order information, the order of packets to be decoded by the decoding unit 21, if the adjustment information indicates that a time adjustment will occur.
Extended scene view
The disclosure provide methods and content consumption devices that enable a scene, for example a 360° scene, that is larger (i.e. has more pixels in at least one dimension) than a display format of the content consumption device to be displayed. Constituent scene views are received individually by the content consumption device, for example as broadcasts, and are combined, for example stitched together, at the content consumption device to output a part of the scene that fits in the display format. The part of the scene (and hence the required constituent streams) to be displayed are determined by a signal, for example a navigational input from a user, enabling the user to navigate in the scene.
VIDEO PROCESSING METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of video processing, and disclosed therein are a video processing method, electronic device, and computer-readable medium. The method includes acquiring a video type of a video file scheduled for playing; determining whether the video type is a specified type; and if the video type is a specified type, controlling a graphics processor to process the video file scheduled for playing and then display same on a screen.
Universal Mirroring Receiver
A screen mirroring receiving device capable of receiving mirroring streams comprising audio-visual data, the mirroring streams conforming to different vendor-provided screen-mirroring protocols, and capable of processing the mirroring streams for audio-visual rendering.
VIDEO PROCESSING METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
The present application discloses a video processing method, an electronic device, and a computer-readable medium. The method comprises: a system playing module acquiring a video file to be played and sent by a target client; determining whether playing of the video file is supported; if not, parsing the video file to acquire an audio stream and a video stream in the video file; configuring an audio decoder identifier for the audio stream, and configuring a video decoder identifier for the video stream; and sending to an FFmpeg module the video stream, the audio stream, the video decoder identifier, and the audio decoder identifier, such that the FFmpeg module decodes the video file to acquire audio playing data and video playing data, wherein the audio playing data and the video playing data can be played by an audio and video output module of an electronic device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STATE BASED CONTENT DELIVERY TO A CLIENT DEVICE
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device having a processing system including a processor and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations, the operations including: receiving an operational state of an audiovisual player of a client device, wherein the operational state comprises a foreground operational state or a background operational state; and sending an ad placement request comprising the operational state to a decision server for a content request for advertisement content. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Method and Apparatus For Selection of Content From A Stream of Data
A main stream contains successive content elements of video and/or audio information that encode video and/or audio information at a first data rate. A computation circuit (144) computes main fingerprints from the successive content elements. A reference stream is received having a second data rate lower than the first data rate. The reference stream defines a sequence of the reference fingerprints. A comparator unit (144) compares the main fingerprints with the reference fingerprints. The main stream is monitored for the presence of inserted content elements between original content elements, where the original content elements have main fingerprints that match successive reference fingerprints and the inserted content elements have main fingerprints that do not match reference fingerprints. Rendering of inserted content elements to be skipped. In an embodiment when more than one content element matches only one is rendered. In another embodiment matching is used to control zapping to or from the main stream. In another embodiment matching is used to control linking of separately received mark-up information such as subtitles to points in the main stream.
Video recording method and video recording apparatus
This application discloses a video recording apparatus and a video recording method. The video recording apparatus includes a first demultiplexer, configured to: separate program information, audio data, and video data from a transport stream; a marker, configured to: mark the separated audio data and the separated video data, and transmit a mixed stream to an encryption processor, where the mixed stream includes the program information, the marked audio data, and the marked video data; and the encryption processor, configured to: identify the marked audio data and the marked video data in the mixed stream, encrypt the identified audio data and the identified video data to obtain encrypted audio data and encrypted video data, and transmit the encrypted audio data, the encrypted video data, and the program information to a memory in a rich execution environment REE for storage, so as to implement video recording.
Method And System For Synchronizing Playback Of Independent Audio And Video Streams Through A Network
A method and system for synchronizing an audio signal and a video signal includes a source device receiving an audio-video signal comprising the audio signal and the video signal. The video signal has a video time stamp. The source device communicates the audio signal from the source device to a first sink device through a wireless network with a second time stamp and communicates the video signal to the second sink device with the video time stamp. The second sink device generates a synchronization (synch) signal and communicates the synch signal to the first sink device. The first sink device compares the synch signal to the second time stamp, adjusts a relative timing of the playback of the audio signal in response to comparing and generates an audible signal from the audio signal.
