NON-FUNGIBLE TOKENS FOR MEDIA ITEM SAMPLES
The present technology pertains to managing a sample of a media item using a non-fungible token (NFT) and an associated smart contract. The present technology includes identifying a portion of the media item as a sample, and creating an NFT referencing assignment of a right associated with the sample of the media item. The NFT has an associated smart contract defining a condition upon satisfaction of which the right associated with the sample will be assigned. The present technology may also include identifying market data of the media item, where the market data includes at least one of a list price and historical sales volume for the media item, and identifying charts data, critical review scores, and social media interaction with the media items. The market data can be used to determine a spot price for the sample of the media item.
Media content search results ranked by popularity
Media content search results ranked by popularity is described. In embodiment(s), a search request for television media content can be initiated by a viewer, and television media content that is relevant to the search request can be identified. The relevant television media content can then be ranked based on a popularity rating and the relevant television media content can be displayed in an ordered list that is ordered by popularity rankings.
Advertisement placement and engagement supported video indexing, search and delivery platforms, methods, systems and apparatuses
Advertisements are delivered with videos, the advertisements being cued to begin based on an analysis of metadata associated with the videos such as moments identified from user-submitted comments relative to the video. Credit earned by users based on their viewing and engagement activities may be gifted to other users or applied towards baseline fees assessed in connection with videos delivered to the user.
USER GENERATED AND CURATED VIDEO CONTENT STREAMING ON-DEMAND THROUGH A DIGITAL COMPETITION ENVIRONMENT
Systems and methods for providing user generated and curated video content streaming on-demand to facilitate and incentivize digital competition are provided. Video clips are uploaded to a platform and made available for electronic interaction. Certain of said video clips are selected for incorporation into highlight presentations. Advertising is inserted into at least some of the highlight presentations and payments are disbursed to content generators associated with the video clips in the highlight presentations for which payment is received.
FOCUS GROUP APPARATUS AND SYSTEM
A focus group system for determining the user’s mood or reaction as the user views content based at least in part on physiological indicators measured by a physiological monitoring system and feedback from the user. The system may receive sensor data including physiological data of a user captured while the user is consuming content and receive feedback of the user associated with a reaction of the user when the sensor data was captured. The system may then determine, based at least in part on the sensor data and the feedback, a direction and magnitude of the reaction of the user to the content.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM INCLUDING INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISTRIBUTING LIVE VIDEO
A system for distributing live videos includes: one or more computer processors that: distribute first live videos provided by a distributor to viewers; manage a value of a predetermined parameter associated with the distributor for each of the viewers, wherein for each of the viewers, the predetermined parameter increases as one or both of viewing time and a number of times of viewing of the first live videos increases; notify a start of distribution of a second live video provided by the distributor to one or more of the viewers whose predetermined parameter is less than a predetermined value, but not to the other viewers whose predetermined parameter is greater than or equal to the predetermined value.
Media channel identification and action with multi-match detection and disambiguation based on matching with differential reference-fingerprint feature
A computing system compares various reference fingerprints each representing a reference media stream broadcast on a different respective known channel, and the computing system determines that a plurality of the reference fingerprints match each other, thus defining a multi-match group of the matching reference fingerprints. In response, the computing system identifies a fingerprint feature that could define a distinction between the reference fingerprints, and the computing system resolves the multi-match based on the identified feature, thereby determining the channel carrying the media stream being rendered by the media presentation device. And the computing system could then take channel-specific action based on the determined channel.
DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VIRTUAL ITEM, AND DISPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VIRTUAL ITEM
The disclosure relates to a display control method and apparatus for a virtual item, and a display method and apparatus for a virtual item. The display control method for a virtual item includes: displaying a virtual item configuration panel, wherein a plurality of item slots are displayed in the virtual item configuration panel; acquiring a live streaming attribute, wherein the live streaming attribute is acquired in response to an attribute selection operation; acquiring a virtual item corresponding to the item slot, wherein the virtual item is acquired in response to a virtual item configuration operation on the item slot; and establishing a mapping relationship between the live streaming attribute, the item slot and the virtual item, wherein the mapping relationship is used to instruct an audience terminal to display the virtual item in the item slot of a virtual item panel.
Media classification using local and global audio features
Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for media classification using local and global audio features are disclosed. A media classification system determines local features of an audio input using an audio event detector model that is trained to detect a plurality of audio event classes descriptive of objectionable content. The local features are extracted using maximum values of audio event scores for individual audio event classes. The media classification system determines one or more global features of the audio input using the audio event detector model. The global feature(s) are extracted using averaging of clip-level descriptors of a plurality of clips of the audio input. The media classification system determines a content-based rating for media comprising the audio input based (at least in part) on the local features of the audio input and based (at least in part) on the global feature(s) of the audio input.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MANAGING MEDIA CONTENT
A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a media server and parsing engine, 3.sup.rd party mobile aggregator, client servers, and a plurality of communication devices that are each associated with a user and a user profile. The media server can provide one or more of the plurality of communication devices with access to media content, with the access being provided at a time selected by the user. At least one of the one or more of the plurality of communication devices can transmit a critique of the media content. The media server can award points to the user based on performing the critique, and can transmit the critique and user information from the user profile to the client server. The media server can provide the at least one of the one or more of the plurality of communication devices with access to at least one of services or goods to be purchased with the points. The media server can redeem the points based on a purchase of the at least one of the services or goods using the points. Other embodiments such as the obtaining of end user preferences of content in a natural environment are disclosed.
