A first set of questions to elicit a response from a first user may be obtained. In response to a selection of at least one question from the first set of questions, a first video segment may be obtained. A first capture date when the first video segment was captured may be obtained. The first capture date may be verified that it is within a threshold time period. If the first capture date is verified, the first video segment may be associated with a first profile associated with the first user. At least a portion of the first profile including the first video segment may be displayed via the online platform. A first selection may be received from a second client computing platform associated with a second user viewing the first profile. The first selection may indicate a binary interest for the first user based upon the first profile.

A system for use in association with a sporting event, competition, or game is provided. The system includes an interactive surface configured to have the sporting event occur thereon and display information related to the sporting event, competition, or game occurring thereon and a controller configured to convey display information to the interactive surface. Alternately, a system is provided including an interactive sports surface configured to have a sporting event occur thereon and concurrently display information related to the sporting event occurring thereon, and means for controlling information displayed via the interactive sports surface. The means for controlling is configured to convey display information related to the sporting event to the interactive sports surface.

System and methods for multimedia playback are provided. A terminal device may obtain a playback identifier of a multimedia playback device. The terminal device may send an association request to a server based on the playback identifier. The association request may enable the server to establish an association between a terminal device and the multimedia playback device. The terminal device may receive a plurality of candidate options pushed by the server. The plurality of candidate options may be pushed to the terminal device associated with the multimedia playback device when the server detects that a preset time point arrives after the multimedia playback device plays back a first media resource. The terminal device may obtain a target option selected from the plurality of candidate options. The terminal device may feedback the target option to the server to enable the server to determine a second media resource to be played back by the multimedia playback device.

A content broker can receive a request from a user's client device for access to a data stream, and determines whether the client device has a sufficient number of credits to consume the digital content. If the client device does not have a sufficient number of credits, the broker can provide the client device an opportunity to earn credits. The broker can send to the client device an advertisement stream, and a corresponding challenge query that includes a set of instructions for generating a challenge-response that proves the client device has consumed the advertisement stream. If the broker receives a valid challenge response from the client device, the broker can assign a predetermined number of credits to the user's account.

A system for assisting a content consumer to select content services, the system including a processor that is configured to execute a matching algorithm. Methods, systems, and media for providing personalized notifications to video viewers are provided. In some embodiments, the method comprises: receiving, using a hardware processor, one or more prompts to be presented in association with a video from a user account associated with the video; receiving, from the user account associated with the video, one or more notifications, wherein each of the one or more prompts is associated with one of the one or more notifications; causing the one or more prompts to be presented in association with presentation of the video to a user; receiving an indication that a first prompt of the one or more of the prompts was selected by the user; causing a notification associated with the first prompt to be presented to the user in response to receiving the indication.

Systems and methods are described for managing presentation of content. An action may be scheduled to occur at a first time within the presentation of the media asset, where the action may interrupt the presentation of the media asset. When a current presentation position is approaching the first time, an option to delay the action may be generated for presentation. In response to receiving selection of the option to delay the action, the action may be scheduled to occur at a later second time within the presentation of the media asset.
