SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EVENT BROADCASTS

Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media can determine a broadcaster request to determine information for conducting a content broadcast through the computing system. One or more parameters for the broadcast can be determined using a machine learning model that has been trained to predict the one or more parameters based at least in part on data describing previously conducted broadcasts. Information that describes at least the one or more parameters is provided to the broadcaster.

PROFILE-BASED, COMPUTING PLATFORM FOR OPERATING SPATIALLY DIVERSE, ASYNCHRONOUS COMPETITIONS
20170361226 · 2017-12-21 ·

Methods, devices, and computing platforms for operating spatially diverse, asynchronous competitions are disclosed. A platform includes a competition control module that determines competition information associated with a competition between spatially distinct competitors, receives video data from devices of each of the spatially distinct competitors, receives a determination of a preferred one of the videos and provides results associated with the competition. In some instances, the computing platform includes an application executing on a mobile device. The application may include a user interface that prompts for and receives back competition information, competition videos, and may display competition results, for instance. In some instances, verification data, such as time, date or location metadata associated with the videos may be encrypted prior to transmission.

VIDEO MODIFICATION AND TRANSMISSION USING TOKENS
20230191248 · 2023-06-22 · ·

Methods and apparatus are disclosed for video transmission using tokens. According to one example, computer-readable storage media store instructions that cause a processor to: distribute, toward terminal devices of a plurality of viewers via a communication line, motion data or a first video including an animation of an avatar of a distributor generated on the basis of the motion data; distribute, toward the terminal devices of the plurality of viewer via the communication line, a second video related to a computer-implemented game generated on the basis of operation data by using a received web page; receive, via the communication line, token data indicating that any type of token among a plurality types of tokens is given to the distributor, the token data being generated by the terminal device of each viewer viewing the second video; calculate a score based on the total number of at least one type of tokens given to the distributor using the token data; and control a game object used in the game on the basis of the score.

INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
20230199230 · 2023-06-22 ·

The present invention aims to provide an information processing device, information processing method, and program capable of more effectively delivering, to a user, a moving image on a bet made by predicting an outcome of a predetermined competition. The information processing device is configured to deliver, to a user, a moving image on a bet made by predicting an outcome of a predetermined competition, the information processing device including a processor. The processor selects, out of a plurality of the moving images, a part of the moving images as a delivery candidate moving image based on a predetermined criterion; and sends the user a list indicating the delivery candidate moving image thus selected.

DYNAMIC CONTEXT-BASED VIDEO STREAMING OVERLAY GENERATION
20220385966 · 2022-12-01 · ·

Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for customizing and dynamically generating overlay graphical user interfaces (GUIs) within the context of a video streaming environment.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ALTERING VIDEO CLIP OBJECTS

The present disclosure relates generally to content delivery techniques in audio-visual streaming systems. The techniques include altering video or audio portions of media content based on user input or interaction. The techniques further include altering text or messaging distributed to multiple users based on user input.

USE OF AUDIO SIGNALS TO PROVIDE INTERACTIVE CONTENT TO END USERS VIA SMART DEVICES
20170359627 · 2017-12-14 ·

Various arrangements for providing interactive content to viewers of television programming are presented. A television service provider system may supplement broadcast television programming with a supplemental audio signal. The supplemental audio signal may not part of the broadcast television programming as received by the television service provider system from a content provider. The television service provider system may broadcast a data stream comprising the broadcast television programming and the supplemental audio signal via a television programming distribution network. A television receiver may receive the data stream and output the broadcast television programming and the supplemental audio signal. A viewer's mobile device may detect the supplemental audio signal using an on-board microphone of the mobile device. In response to the received supplemental audio signal, the mobile device may access interactive content and provide such interactive content to the viewer.

Live content streaming system and method
11683566 · 2023-06-20 · ·

A live media streaming system and method is presented herein. The system and method includes broadcasting a live media stream in at least one of a plurality of themed broadcasting channels, the live media stream being transmitted from a broadcasting device corresponding to a broadcasting user. A jump zone (a physical region or area) is selected or defined based upon predetermined jump zone criteria corresponding to the at least one of the plurality of themed broadcasting channels. Further, a next broadcasting user is selected, wherein the user is located within the physical geographic region of the jump zone. Once the next broadcasting user is selected, a live media stream is broadcasted from the next user's broadcasting device.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SCHEDULING A COMMUNICATION SESSION BASED ON MEDIA ASSET COMMUNICATION DATA
20230188796 · 2023-06-15 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for scheduling a communication session for casting a vote relating to a media asset based on metadata of the media asset. A media guidance application may receive a frame of a media asset including voting information and metadata including communication data related to the voting information. The communication data may include a destination and a communication format. In response to receiving a command from a user input device, the media guidance application may extract the communication data from the metadata, generate a command to engage in communications using the communication data, and transmit the communication data and the command to a communication module. The media guidance application may then receive a trigger to engage in the communications. In response to the trigger, the media guidance application may instruct the communication module to execute the command to cast a vote.

System for addressing on-demand TV program content on TV services platform of a digital TV services provider
11516525 · 2022-11-29 · ·

Video content is uploaded via the Internet to a video-on-demand (VOD) server identified by a title and a hierarchical address of categories and subcategories for categorizing the title. The VOD server converts and stores the video content at a storage address in a video content database linked to the title. The title is listed in a location of an electronic program guide (EPG) using the same categories and subcategories as in its hierarchical address. Any TV subscriber can access the EPG and navigate through its categories and subcategories to find a title for viewing on the TV. This can enable many new blogging or podcasting-like programs by popular “Hosts” to be self-published on the Internet and readily navigated for display on TV. The EPG can also store TV program addresses as bookmarks and allow them to be shared with other subscribers or with friends and contacts online by sending to their email addresses.
