The device can contain two hinged lids which can be lifted away from the housing simultaneously or individually and are capable of pivoting through 90?, 180? or 270?.

A door is movably attached to the housing via at least one 4-bar linkage mechanism. The door is selectively movable between a closed position, wherein the open front end of the housing is covered by the door, and an open position, wherein the door is positioned generally atop the upper panel of the housing, thereby uncovering the open front end of the housing to access the cooking cavity.

A cooking apparatus comprises a cooking chamber formed with a cooking space; a heat source installed inside the cooking chamber, and emitting a heat; a reflector configured to reflect the heat emitted from the heat source to the cooking space; and a fan configured to operate or stop operating while heat is being emitted from the heat source, and to introduce air into the cooking chamber during the operation.

An electromagnetic induction heating cooking appliance may include a heating plate comprising a magnetic substance, a cooking space in which the heating plate is accommodated, an electromagnetic induction heater that supplies an induced current to the heating plate, and a heat emitter that emits heat so as to heat food placed on the heating plate. The electromagnetic induction heater and the heat emitter may be disposed on different sides of the cooking space, respectively. The electromagnetic induction heating cooking appliance may further include a water storage groove that generates steam in the cooking space when water is placed in the water storage groove.
