The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for configuring a control message in a broadcasting system for supporting a multimedia service based on an internet protocol. To this end, control information to be recorded in a payload of a control message to be configured is generated based on a table selected from among a plurality of tables for defining the information related to the generation and consumption of a hybrid content when a message type of the control message to be configured is determined to be a type for providing information related to the generation and consumption of a hybrid content. In addition, the information related to the type of the selected table is recorded in an optional field of the control message to be configured.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for configuring a control message in a broadcasting system for supporting a multimedia service based on an internet protocol. The method includes: displaying a co-host mode setting portal in a live-streaming room of a first user account; displaying a first co-host mode, a second co-host mode, a third co-host mode in response to a trigger operation on the co-host mode setting portal, and the second user account is a viewer account in the live-streaming room; and determining a selected co-host mode as a target co-host mode for the live-streaming room in response to a select operation on any one of the first co-host mode, the second co-host mode, and the third co-host mode.

A method of performing multicast broadcasting of a plurality of streams corresponding to an event is disclosed. The plurality of data streams corresponding to the event are received. Each of the plurality of streams has a different type or format. A multicast timecode is determined based on a synchronization time for each of a plurality of buffers associated with the plurality of streams. A new data stream is generated. The new data stream includes the plurality of data streams and the multicast timecode.
