MMT BASED DRM OPERATION FOR ATSC 3.0
A decoding device includes a communication interface and a processor operably coupled to the communication interface. The communication interface receives at least a portion of a broadcast stream including media data, which includes media samples. The processor identifies information elements containing DRM processing information in the broadcast stream. Each information element is associated with a respective one media sample of the media data. For each information element, the processor also identifies the one media sample that is associated with the information element. The processor further identifies, based on the information element, the DRM processing information for the one media sample. In addition, the processor decodes the one media sample based on the DRM processing information.
Media delivery notification data ingestion and display
A facility for generating analytical information based on individual reports of multiple scheduled presentations of interstitial media assets is provided. Data files are received, each including multiple status reports regarding multiple scheduled presentations of multiple media assets by a plurality of distinct media receiver devices in multiple disparate locations. The data files are decrypted, such that the decrypted one or more data files include, for each of the multiple status reports, at least a media asset identifier and a presentation status indicator, and parsed to generate one or more database entries containing information regarding the scheduled media presentations and the plurality of distinct media receiver devices. One or more user interfaces are provided to allow execution of queries based on the generated one or more databases.
Distributed Content Uploading and Validation
In accordance with one or more embodiments, aspects of the disclosure provide efficient, effective, and convenient ways of uploading and authenticating content. In particular, a user device may receive validating information from a wireless networking device. The user or client device may record a content item, and may insert a validation tag based on the validating information. The user or client device may then send the content item to the wireless networking device. The wireless networking device may receive the content item at a first location and may determine the validity of the content item based on the validating information. The user device may continually interact with wireless networking devices as it travels to continually upload content items while establishing the validity of the time and location of the content items.

Media channel identification and action with multi-match detection and disambiguation based on matching with differential reference-fingerprint feature
A computing system compares various reference fingerprints each representing a reference media stream broadcast on a different respective known channel, and the computing system determines that a plurality of the reference fingerprints match each other, thus defining a multi-match group of the matching reference fingerprints. In response, the computing system identifies a fingerprint feature that could define a distinction between the reference fingerprints, and the computing system resolves the multi-match based on the identified feature, thereby determining the channel carrying the media stream being rendered by the media presentation device. And the computing system could then take channel-specific action based on the determined channel.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO GENERATE A SIGNATURE BASED ON SIGNATURE CANDIDATES
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to generate a signature based on signature candidates. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes first means for determining an alignment point of a first candidate signature segment and a second candidate signature segment, the first candidate signature segment and the second candidate signature segment include time data and signature data, the alignment point based on the time data of the first candidate signature segment and the time data of the second candidate signature segment, means for comparing a first signature to a second signature at the alignment point, the first signature representative of media included in the first candidate signature segment, the second signature included in the second candidate signature segment, and means for stitching the second signature to the first signature based on the comparison to generate a stitched signature, the stitched signature to be used for media crediting.

Database layer caching for video communications
An apparatus includes a network interface and a processor. The network interface receives event data that identifies a content ID and a message authentication code. The content ID identifies a content within a webcast or a virtual event. The processor generates a content hash, at least in part based on the content ID. The network interface transmits a content request and receives the content. The content request identifies the content hash and the message authentication code.
Methods and apparatus to automate the recording of media for signature creation
Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed to automate the recording of media for signature creation. Reference signature requests are received from an employee or user. The reference signature request is distributed to automated capture tool circuitry, which plays the relevant media for a meter and provides a status update. When a signature is created, a status update indicates whether it is considered to be a reference signature. Prioritization circuitry assigns and updates a priority for each of the requests according to the priority of other requests, the status updates, and a priority rule set. Reference signature requests with the highest priority are assigned to automated capture tool circuitry for completion before lower priority requests.
