An image forming system includes a plurality of image forming apparatuses, a print request receiving portion, a dividing portion, and a print job transmitting portion. The print request receiving portion receives a print request for a print object. The dividing portion, when a total number of pages to be printed is equal to or greater than a preset smallest number of pages, divides the print object into a plurality of page groups. The print job transmitting portion generates a plurality of divided print jobs that respectively correspond to the plurality of page groups divided by the dividing portion, and transmits the plurality of divided print jobs to the plurality of image forming apparatuses, respectively.

The method may conclude by transmitting the imaging data request to the image processing apparatus from the information processing apparatus via a private network in response to determining that the imaging data request was received with the first information and the second information.

If a discovery packet is received from the mobile device via P2P interface, the control unit is operable to control the image forming apparatus to process the discovery packet.

The second image forming apparatus displays a list of print files which are on standby for printing based on the metadata, and obtains a print file from the first image forming apparatus when a print instruction and a selection of a desired print file from the list of print files are received through the operating unit, and performs printing based the print file.
