A workflow execution section executes a workflow defined as a series of processes that can include a process for inputting the document data, and a process for transmitting the document data to the external system. A document format acquisition section acquires a document format of the document data required by the system, from the system. When the workflow execution section executes the workflow including the process for transmitting the document data to the external system, a document format check section judges whether or not the document data to be transmitted satisfies the acquired document format.

The communication terminal communicates with the image forming apparatus, displays a second display screen, and accepts input of information and includes a central processing unit (CPU) that notifies the input of the information to the image forming apparatus. The communication terminal transmits the information input in the input device to the image forming apparatus, and the hardware processor determines whether the status of the operation panel is a status that accepts the operation, and upon the status of the operation panel being the status that accepts the operation, switches the first display screen to a screen that accepts the operation.

Embodiments of systems and methods for the sending, delivery and receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at a user's site, and a faxing system that may be deployed remotely from the user's site. The fax connector can be accessed at the user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at the user's site communicates with the remotely deployed faxing system to send, receive, obtain status on, or perform other functions associated with, faxing.

Embodiments of systems and methods for the sending, delivery and receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at a user's site, and a faxing system that may be deployed remotely from the user's site. The fax connector can be accessed at the user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at the user's site communicates with the remotely deployed faxing system to send, receive, obtain status on, or perform other functions associated with, faxing.

An electronic device having a memory, a display, control apparatus and a data processor. When the data processor executes a program stored in the memory of the electronic device, the electronic device receives an image containing a person, the image further containing a face component, the face component containing the face of the person; displays the image on the display; locates the face component within the image; emphasizes the face component; receives image annotation information concerning the face component; and saves the image annotation information to the memory of the electronic device. The image annotation information may take the form of contact information for use in a contact database. A method uses the face component to locate other images in the database that also contain the person, and adds the annotation information to those images.
