The display control unit causes the display device to display a composite image formed by combining additional information based on the apparatus information with a to-be-combined image, while linking the additional information to a position of the electronic apparatus in the to-be-combined image, this position corresponding to a relationship between the position of the electronic apparatus in real space and a position of the portable apparatus in real space.

A method and apparatus for processing metadata of an image are disclosed. The metadata is associated with the image and an applet views the metadata in response to selection of the image. The metadata may include links to websites, audio files, video files, and text files, as well as image capture information including GPS location, time and date of capture, camera settings, etc. In response to selection of the image, or in response to arriving at a website pointed to by a URL in the metadata, a list of information materials associated with the image may be displayed. One or more of the information materials may be automatically activated.

The job log and operation log are set such that they can be searched in association with each other. An operation log record associated with a designated document record is read and added to a result list (S2104). Operation log records are read out one by one from the result list. An image processing apparatus that performs print processing based on a job includes a reception unit configured to receive an operation performed by a user, a change unit configured to, in response to the reception unit receiving a predetermined operation, change a job on which the print processing is not yet completed to a suspended state, and a job control unit configured to, when detecting a logout event that causes a user who is logged into the image processing apparatus to log out of the image processing apparatus, resume at least one job and cancel a job or jobs that are not resumed by the job control unit selected from jobs changed by the change unit to be in the suspended state.
