The present invention relates to performing mobile network configurations or changes. The invention presents a first device for performing the mobile network configuration or change, and a second device for generating feedback for supporting the mobile network configuration or change. The first device is configured to send a support request to the second device, wherein the support request specifies a reusable or specific feedback type and a target information. The second device is configured to send reusable or specific feedback about the target information in response to the support request. The first device is then configured to determine a configuration or change of the mobile network based on the reusable or specific feedback. The reusable feedback includes a value or set of values of the target information and at least one coordination parameter indicating how the reusable feedback is to be used by multiple second devices.

Link aggregation with floating primary link

This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for dynamically changing a primary communication link on which wireless devices contend for access to a shared wireless medium. An access point (AP) may monitor the channel conditions on a primary link and one or more secondary links of a multi-link environment, and may signal a change in the primary link (such as to one of the secondary links) when one or more conditions are satisfied. The AP may signal the change to one or more wireless stations (STAs) in its Basic Service Set (BSS). In some aspects, the AP may signal the change in primary link via beacon frames broadcast periodically at Target Beacon Transmission Times (TBTTs). In some other aspects, the AP may signal the change in primary link via unicast management or control frames targeted at STAs that may not receive one or more beacons broadcast by the AP.

METHOD OF HANDLING CONTROL PLANE DATA IN A WIRELESS NETWORK

The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology. A method of handling control plane data in a wireless network. The method comprises sending, by a user entity (UE), a non-access stratum (NAS) message along with an indication data to a mobility management (MM) core network entity. The MM core network entity processes the received NAS message and the indication data. The MM core network entity determines status of network congestion upon processing the processed NAS message. Sending, by the MM core network entity, a response to the UE based on at least one of the processed indication data and the determined network congestion.

User Plane Entity and Method Therein for Enabling User Plane Data Traffic from Sets of Wireless Devices to Be Handled by Virtual Processing Entities in a Wireless Communications Network

A method performed in a user plane entity (900) for enabling user plane data traffic from sets of wireless devices to be handled by virtual processing entities in a wireless communications network (100) is provided. The user plane entity (900) assigns an Internet Protocol, IP, address to each virtual processing entity. Also, the user plane entity (900) establishes, for each set of wireless devices, a primary route associating at least one transport channel carrying user plane data traffic from the set of wireless devices (UE_7, UE_8) with the assigned IP address of the virtual processing entity (VPE #4) that is responsible for handling the user plane data traffic from said set of wireless devices (UE_7, UE_8). Further, the user plane entity (900) establishes, for each set of wireless devices, secondary routes associating the at least one transport channel carrying user plane data traffic from the set of wireless devices (UE_7, UE_8) with one or more of the assigned IP addresses of the virtual processing entities (VPE #1, VPE #2, VPE #3) that are currently not responsible for handling the user plane data traffic from said set of wireless devices, respectively. A user plane entity (900) for enabling user plane data traffic from sets of wireless devices to be handled by virtual processing entities in a wireless communications network (100) is also provided.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR WI-FI OFFLOAD

A system and method to identify different access names for discovering and learning service provider's Wi-Fi access networks in user's premises where user may have defined a customized SSID on said Wi-Fi Access Points, for increasing the likelihood for automatic Wi-Fi offload on service provider network thus enhancing user experience to dynamically offload a user equipment [202] and prevent revenue loss for the service provider by keeping the user always on its Network (either cellular or Wi-Fi). Furthermore, the method encompasses identifying of a parent service provider's user-defined Wi-Fi Access Network SSID(s), learning one or more information of connection between said SSID(s) and the UE [202], categorizing said SSID(s) and allowing automated offload to a selected SSID whenever the UE [202] is within its coverage.
