Method for Offloading User Device into Wireless Network Using and SF Application
20250280328 · 2025-09-04 · ·

The present disclosure provides a method for automatic offloading of a user device into wireless network (Wi-Fi) using an ANDSF application. The method includes a first step to configure available wireless network (Wi-Fi) at the user device. The method includes a second step to validate wireless network (Wi-Fi) at the user device. The method includes a third step to offload the user device into wireless network (Wi-Fi). In addition, wireless network (Wi-Fi) is configured into ANDSF policy. Further, ANDSF policy is configured in ANDSF server. Furthermore, ANDSF server is associated with the ANDSF application. Moreover, wireless network (Wi-Fi) is validated using the ANDSF application. Also, the ANDSF application validates configured wireless network (Wi-Fi) based on Quality of Experience (QOE) parameters. Also, the user device is offloaded using the ANDSF application.

Wireless communications by dual SIM device

Aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE). The method generally includes receiving a request for a wireless connection from an application associated with one or more user equipment (UE) route selection policy (URSP) rules, attempting to establish the wireless connection for the application via a first subscriber identity module (SIM) according to one or more of the URSP rules associated with the application that are supported by the first SIM, and taking one or more actions to establish the wireless connection for the application via a second SIM if the attempt to establish the wireless connection for the application via the first SIM fails.

Method and cloud server for cloud based client steering

Methods, systems, and apparatus' for optimizing network performance are described herein. A Cloud-Server may optimize one or more mesh networks of a plurality of 802.11 access points (APs) and stations (STA) connected to the APs. The Cloud-Server may work with a client steering daemon (CSD) running on each AP. The Cloud-Server may operate in a location that is remote to the AP(s). The Cloud-Server may collect, store, and process network and client related data from one or more CSDs. The processing may include measuring network (e.g., premises) and client (e.g., STA) performance as well as analyzing (e.g., machine learning, etc.) to determine network parameters that will optimize network performance The Cloud-Server may then apply these network parameters to the relevant CSDs in order to improve per client and per network performance.
