Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a device comprising: a processing system including a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processing system, facilitate performance of operations, the operations comprising: obtaining a first indication of a first decision to communicate with a first communication device via a wired network endpoint of a wired communication system, the first communication device being in communication with a base station of a wireless communication system at a time of a making of the first decision, the base station being configured for first communications with a network transport layer via a first link and the wired network endpoint being configured for second communications with the network transport layer via a second link; responsive to the obtaining the first indication, changing in a route information listing a first latency value for the first link, the first latency value being changed from a first original value to a higher value that is greater than the first original value, the route information listing containing information associated with a plurality of communication devices, including the first communication device, that are communicating with the network transport layer; and responsive to the obtaining the first indication, changing in the route information listing a second latency value for the second link, the second latency value being changed from the higher value to a lower value that is less than the higher value. A special network device and method for using the same are described. In one embodiment, the device is for use in a network arrangement comprising a plurality of access points that are part of one or more existing networks and operable to individually address and communicate with each other to form a local area network (LAN) to transfer data between two or more of the plurality of access points using point-to-point links independent of their function in the one or more first existing networks, and the client device comprises: a first communication interface; a second wireless communication interface; a cache to store content; and connection logic coupled to the first and second communication interfaces, and the cache, to initiate a wireless connection with one or more access points in the plurality of access points by itself using the second wireless communication interface to transfer desired content cached by individual access points of the plurality of access points, the wireless connection used to request at least one of the one or more of the plurality of access points to transfer the desired content via one or more direct point-to-point transfers with one or more access points in the plurality of access points.
Method for operating terminal in wireless communication system and terminal using same
A method for operating a terminal in a wireless communication system and a terminal using the method are provided. The method is characterized by: receiving RAN auxiliary information related to steering traffic between a first network and a second network; receiving target information used for determining a target to which the RAN auxiliary information can be applied; and determining whether to apply the RAN auxiliary information based on the target information.

A first bandwidth capacity of the first broadband channel and a second bandwidth capacity of the second broadband channel are determined. A ratio of communication data throughput between the first broadband channel and the second broadband channel are adjusted based on a bandwidth allocation rule set that routes the communication data according to the first bandwidth capacity of the first broadband channel and the second bandwidth capacity of the second broadband channel.

The data transmission method is executed by a computing device, and includes: receiving first packets transmitted by a first device over multiple data channels; parsing the first packets to obtain address information of the first device, and performing aggregation on the first packets according to headers of the first packets, to obtain second packets, the designated address information comprising a virtual port assigned to the first device and associated with the address information of the first device; replacing source address information of the second packets with designated address information, to obtain third packets; and transmitting the third packets to a second device, the second device being a device that the first device needs to access.

A method for operating a terminal in a wireless communication system and a terminal using the method are provided. The method is characterized by: receiving RAN auxiliary information related to steering traffic between a first network and a second network; receiving target information used for determining a target to which the RAN auxiliary information can be applied; and determining whether to apply the RAN auxiliary information based on the target information.
