Cellular telecommunications network
This disclosure provides a base station, and a method of operating a base station, in a cellular telecommunications network, the method including a first base station determining to switch to energy saving mode; and the first base station sending a first message to a second base station, the first message including compensation data relating to a third base station that the first base station is acting in compensation mode for.
V2X Supported Band Combination Sequence of a Wireless Device
A base station receives a first sequence of capability parameters from a wireless device. Each of the first sequence of capability parameters indicate whether a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) transmission is supported in a corresponding frequency band combination of a second sequence of frequency band combinations of the wireless device. The corresponding frequency band combination comprises one or more frequency band identifiers each indicating a specific frequency band. V2X configuration parameters of a cell operating in one of the frequency band combinations on which the wireless device supports the V2X transmission is transmitted.
ASSISTANCE INFORMATION INDICATING LOGICAL CHANNEL FOR SPS TRAFFIC
A wireless device transmits a message comprising semi persistent scheduling (SPS) assistance information. The SPS assistance information comprises: a logical channel identity associated with an SPS traffic; and a message size associated with the SPS traffic. In response to the SPS assistance information, an activation command indicating an activation of an SPS grant is received. One or more parameters in the SPS grant are based on the SPS assistance information.
METHOD OF MAINTAINING 4G RADIO CONNECTIVITY AND USING 5G SERVICE
The invention provides the method that allows UE to simultaneously use 4G and 5G technology when handover from a eNodeB station to eNodeB ENDC base station that supports data transfer on 5G technology platform effectively and optimize deployment costs for current carriers. The method can be widely applied on software and hardware available.
INFORMATION TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application provides an information transmission method and an apparatus. A core network device obtains second public land mobile network (PLMN) information of a second cell before a cell handover of a terminal device. After the terminal device is handed over to a first cell, the core network device obtains first PLMN information of the first cell. When a second PLMN does not belong to a PLMN list and a first PLMN belongs to the PLMN list, the core network device sends first information to a first access network device corresponding to the first cell, where the first information includes the PLMN list, and the PLMN list includes a PLMN set that allows the terminal device to perform minimization of drive test.
COMMUNICATION METHODS AND APPARATUSES, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A communication method performed by user equipment (UE) includes receiving first control information sent by a source base station. The first control information is configured to indicate a multi-modal service parameter of a multi-modal service that a target base station supports the UE to hand over to access the target base station to perform. A communication method performed by a source base station includes sending multi-modal service handover information to a target base station; wherein the multi-modal service handover information is configured to determine a multi-modal service parameter of a multi-modal service performed by user equipment (UE) and associated with the target base station.
CELL PREPARATION
A network node comprising at least one processor; and at least one memory including computer program code; the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to perform: transmitting a request to a plurality of nodes to prepare one or more cell candidates; receiving an indication from at least one of the plurality of nodes indicating a capacity to prepare one or more further cell candidates; and transmitting, to one or more of the at least one of the plurality of nodes, a further request to prepare at least one further cell candidate.
Cell configuration for V2X communications in a wireless network
A base station receives, from a wireless device, a message comprising a first sequence of a plurality of parameters. A first parameter in the first sequence indicates whether a V2X transmission configuration is supported in a first band combination. The first band combination may be in a second sequence of a plurality of band combinations associated with the wireless device. An index of the first parameter in the first sequence identifies the first band combination in the second sequence. A second message may be transmitted based on the message. The second message comprises configuration parameters of at least one cell for V2X communications. The at least one cell operates in one of the plurality of band combinations that supports the V2X transmission configuration.
MANAGING HANDOVER EXECUTION
A method, performed by a base station (104) serving a source cell, for managing handover execution. The method includes storing first NCR information for a first target cell, wherein the first NCR information comprises: i) a first cell identifier for identifying the first target cell and ii) processing unit, PU, information indicating whether or not the target cell has at least one PU available. The method further includes evaluating whether or not to initiate a handover of a user equipment, UE (102), from the source cell to the target cell, wherein the evaluation is based at least in part on the PU information for the target cell.
