Methods and devices for sending a service request to obtain target information
An information obtaining method, applicable to a terminal. The method comprises: transmitting an obtaining request to a base station, wherein the obtaining request is used for requesting the base station to transmit target information; and receiving the target information that is transmitted by the base station according to the obtaining request. The base station can not only autonomously configure information for a terminal, but can also transmit the target information to the terminal according to the obtaining request of the terminal; the terminal not only passively receives the information configured by the base station, but also can actively obtain the target information from the base station by transmitting the obtaining request to the base station.
ENDC handover mobility system
A method includes determining whether user equipment (UE) in a telecommunication network is configured to support evolved universal terrestrial radio access network dual connectivity (ENDC). Responsive to the UE being determined as configured to support the ENDC determining whether a source cell and a target cell are configured to support the ENDC. Performing on processing circuitry a first mobility modification in response to determining the source cell is an ENDC source cell and the target cell is a non-ENDC target cell. Performing on the processing circuitry a second mobility modification in response to determining the target cell is an ENDC target cell and the source cell is a non-ENDC source cell. The second mobility modification is different from the first mobility modification. Performing a handover from the source cell to the target cell in response to both the source cell and the target cell being configured for ENDC or non-ENDC.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING PSCELL CHANGE PROCEDURE
The present application relates to a method and an apparatus for performing a Primary Secondary Cell (PSCell) change procedure. One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method, which includes: receiving first information associated with a user equipment (UE) for a secondary node (SN) change or a primary secondary cell (PSCell) change; and/or receiving second information associated with one or more candidate nodes for the SN change or the PSCell change; and determining an action regarding the SN change or the PSCell change with a machine learning (ML) model based on the first information and/or the second information.
METHOD FOR SELECTING TARGET RELAY UE, NETWORK DEVICE AND UE
A method for selecting a target relay UE, performed by a network device, comprises: acquiring a candidate relay UE list of a remote UE and a public land mobile network (PLMN) list; determining a target relay set by performing an access/handover decision on each candidate relay UE in the candidate relay UE list based on the PLMN list; and selecting a target relay UE from the target relay set.
Cell handover method and apparatus, handover configuration method and apparatus, and user equipment
A cell handover method comprises receiving handover configuration information sent by a base station, the handover configuration information comprising handover target cells configured for a UE and a first handover condition and a second handover condition configured for each handover target cell, in which the handover difficulty of the first handover condition is lower than the handover difficulty of the second handover condition; obtaining service types supported by each handover target cell; and selecting a handover condition used for each handover target cell according to the service types supported by each handover target cell and services required by the UE.
Coverage improvement for 5G new radio wireless communication network to automatically adjust cell properties to improve coverage and capacity
The described technology provides a system and method for automatically adjusting properties of cells of a wireless communication network to improve coverage and capacity of the network. A coverage analysis tool extracts call data from cellular network traffic information and determines, based on distances between serving cells, neighbor cells, and geographic locations of the call data, whether the serving cells are under-shooter or over-shooter cells. The network automatically adjusts antenna tilt and/or transmit power of the under-shooter/over-shooter cells to improve the network's coverage and capacity.
Change of Serving Node
An SMF sends, to an AMF, a first message comprising a PDU session identifier of a PDU session for a wireless device, wherein the PDU session is associated with a network slice. The SMF receives, from the AMF, a second message comprising an indication that the network slice is not available at a location of the wireless device. After receiving the second message, the SMF does not send, to the AMF, an indication of data arrival of the PDU session.
CELL RESELECTION METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT
A cell reselection method performed by a user equipment in a mobile communication system includes: receiving, from a network, slice frequency information indicating a correspondence relationship between network slice groups, frequencies, and frequency priorities; determining, for a selected network slice group selected by a user equipment in accordance with a slice group priority, priority orders of corresponding frequencies based on the frequency priorities indicated by the slice frequency information; and reselecting a candidate cell satisfying a predetermined quality standard within a selected frequency selected by the user equipment in accordance with the determined priority orders. The determining of the priority orders includes determining, for each of the frequencies, the priority orders of the corresponding frequencies, based on a maximum value of the frequency priorities for each of a plurality of network slice groups when the plurality of network slice groups have a same slice group priority.
CELL RESELECTION METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS
A terminal device determines at least one first slice group and a first tracking area (TA) of each first slice group, where the first slice group is a slice group including a network slice that the terminal device intends to access; the terminal device performs neighboring cell measurement based on a priority of each first TA and a frequency priority corresponding to each first slice group, to obtain a target cell that meets a cell reselection condition; and the terminal device determines, based on a second TA, whether to camp on the target cell, where the second TA is a first TA of a second slice group, and the second slice group is a first slice group corresponding to the frequency priority used for neighboring cell measurement through which the target cell is obtained.
SWITCH GAP CONFIGURATION TRANSPORT BETWEEN BASE STATIONS IN WIRELESS NETWORKS
A method for a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes the UE maintaining a first Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a first base station (BS) of a first network while receiving transmissions from a BS of a second network during at least one time period specified in a switch gap configuration. The UE receives an RRC reconfiguration message from the first BS that includes a first command and a second command. The first command instructs the CE to begin a handover procedure from the first BS to a second BS of the first network. The UE may initiate executing of the handover procedure according to the first command. The UE may or may not continue to receive transmissions from the BS of the second network during the at least one time period based on the second command.
