Thawing method for thawing device

A thawing method for a thawing device includes: generating, by a radio frequency generation module, a radio frequency signal in a frequency range of 40 to 42 MHz; obtaining the radio frequency signal; and generating, by an upper electrode plate and a lower electrode plate, radio frequency waves of corresponding frequency in a thawing chamber according to the radio frequency signal, and thawing an object to be processed in the thawing chamber. Radio frequency waves using the above frequency range have shorter thawing time, higher temperature-uniformity and lower juice loss rate than radio frequency waves of other frequencies.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A COOKING OVEN

A control method for operating a cooking oven in a deep-frying program which is configured for a predetermined set temperature is disclosed, wherein the cooking oven has an oven cavity, a tray arranged within the oven cavity, a bottom heating element for heating the bottom of the cavity, a fan located at the rear wall of the cavity, and a ring heating element surrounding the fan. The method comprises the following stages: (a) a heat-up phase in which the ring heating element is continuously operated and the bottom heating element is intermittently operated, the heat-up phase being conducted until reaching a temperature of the oven cavity which corresponds to the set temperature plus a predetermined first hysteresis; (b) a subsequent holding phase in which the bottom heating element and the ring heating element are non-operative; and (c) a frying phase conducted upon reaching a temperature within the oven cavity which corresponds to the set temperature minus a predetermined second hysteresis, the frying phase comprising continuously or intermittently operating the ring heating element, and intermittently operating the bottom heating element so as to raise the temperature within the oven cavity to a temperature which corresponds to the set temperature plus a predetermined third hysteresis.

DISTRIBUTED RADIO FREQUENCY OR MICROWAVE THAWING DEVICE

A distributed radio frequency or microwave thawing device includes one or more thawing units. The thawing unit includes a power supply module, a radio frequency or microwave generation module, a measuring unit, a tuning module, a control unit, an antenna means and a thawing chamber. The antenna means is disposed in the thawing chamber and includes a first antenna group and a second antenna group, the first antenna group includes one or more first antennas, the second antenna group includes one or more second antennas, the first antenna and the second antenna are arranged in pairs, pairs of first antenna and second antenna are arranged in parallel and opposite to each other and form an antenna unit, a plurality of antenna units are arranged side by side. The number of each of the radio frequency or microwave generation module and the measuring unit is one or more.

Apparatus and methods for detecting defrosting operation completion

A defrosting system includes an RF signal source, an electrode proximate to a cavity within which a load to be defrosted is positioned, and a transmission path between the RF signal source and the electrode. The system also includes power detection circuitry coupled to the transmission path and configured repeatedly to take forward and reflected RF power measurements along the transmission path. A system controller repeatedly determines, based on the forward and reflected RF power measurements, a calculated rate of change, and repeatedly compares the calculated rate of change to a threshold rate of change. When the calculated rate of change compares favorably with the threshold rate of change, the RF signal source continues to provide the RF signal to the electrode until a determination is made that the defrosting operation is completed, at which time the RF signal source ceases to provide the RF signal to the electrode.
