Chiplets with connection posts
A component includes a plurality of electrical connections on a process side opposed to a back side of the component. Each electrical connection includes an electrically conductive multi-layer connection post protruding from the process side. A printed structure includes a destination substrate and one or more components. The destination substrate has two or more electrical contacts and each connection post is in contact with, extends into, or extends through an electrical contact of the destination substrate to electrically connect the electrical contacts to the connection posts. The connection posts or electrical contacts are deformed. Two or more connection posts can be electrically connected to a common electrical contact.
Printed circuit board
The present disclosure relates to a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a core layer; a through portion penetrating through the core layer; a first via disposed to be spaced apart from an inner wall of the through portion within the through portion; and a second via disposed in the first via and having a diameter different from that of the first via.
Probe card testing device
A probe card testing device includes a first sub-circuit board, a second sub-circuit board, a connecting structure layer, a fixing plate, a probe head and a plurality of conductive probes. The first sub-circuit board is electrically connected to the second sub-circuit board by the connecting structure layer. The fixing plate is disposed on the second sub-circuit board and includes an opening and an accommodating groove. The opening penetrates the fixing plate and exposes a plurality of pads on the second sub-circuit board. The accommodating groove is located on a side of the fixing plate relatively far away from the second sub-circuit board and communicates with the opening. The probe head is disposed in the accommodating groove of the fixing plate. The conductive probes are set on the probe head and in the opening of the fixing plate. One end of the conductive probes is in contact with the corresponding pads, respectively.
PROBE CARD DEVICE AND CIRCUIT PROTECTION ASSEMBLY THEREOF
A probe card device includes a wiring board provided with a plurality of contacts, a probe head having a probe holder and a plurality of conductive probes arranged on the probe holder, respectively, and a circuit protection assembly including an insulation plate, a plurality of through holes and a plurality of self-resetting fusing elements. The insulation plate is sandwiched between the wiring board and the probe head. The through holes are respectively formed on the insulation plate and arranged in an array form. The self-resetting fusing elements are respectively disposed within the through holes. Each of the self-resetting fusing elements is electrically connected to one of the contacts and one of the conductive probes for reversibly breaking down electric currents from the wiring board to the conductive probe.
Storage devices and methods of operating storage devices
A storage device is provided. The storage device includes nonvolatile memory devices provided on a printed circuit board (PCB), a connector, a storage controller and at least one first passive filter. The connector is provided in the PCB and includes connection terminals. The storage controller is provided on the PCB, communicates with an external host through the connection terminals and controls the nonvolatile memory devices. The at least one first passive filter is provided in the PCB, is connected between the connector and the storage controller, and performs an equalization on either a signal provided to the storage controller or a signal provided from the storage controller.
Fingerprint sensor and button combinations and methods of making same
A biometric sensor may comprise a plurality of a first type of signal traces formed on a first surface of a first layer of a multi-layer laminate package; at least one trace of a second type, formed on a second surface of the first layer or on a first surface of a second layer of the multi-layer laminate package; and connection vias in at least the first layer electrically connecting the signal traces of the first type or the signal traces of the second type to respective circuitry of the respective first or second type contained in an integrated circuit physically and electrically connected to one of the first layer, the second layer or a third layer of the multi-layer laminate package.
MODULE SUBSTRATE AND SEMICONDUCTOR MODULE INCLUDING THE SAME
A module substrate for a semiconductor module including a wiring substrate having an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to each other and including a wiring formed therein, the wiring substrate having at least one through groove in at least one sidewall and extending in a thickness direction, and a through-groove test terminal including at least one contact pad, a surface of the contact pad being exposed from an inner wall of the through-groove, the contact pad being spaced apart from a vertical plane extending from the sidewall of the wiring substrate may be provided.
Reel-to-reel lamination methods and devices in FPC fabrication
A reel-to-reel lamination method to laminate a metal foil or circuitry pattern on the fly. The method includes applying a UV laminate or thermoset laminate to the metal foil or the circuitry pattern reel to reel, and then apply a UV radiation or heat to the laminate. There can be an optional enclosure connected to a suction source. The enclosure can have a flexible bladder that physically compresses the laminate.
Circuit board and manufacture method of the circuit board
A circuit board is manufactured by mounting a first circuit layer, mounting a conductive bump on the first circuit layer, covering the first circuit layer with a first dielectric layer which exposes the conductive bump, mounting a second dielectric layer on the first dielectric layer with a second dielectric layer opening that exposes the conductive bump, and finally, mounting a second circuit layer on the surface of the second dielectric layer and in the second dielectric layer opening. Since the surface roughness of the second dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer opening is low, it is unlikely to form nano voids between the second dielectric layer and the second circuit layer, and the second circuit layer may be attached to the second dielectric layer firmly, which is an advantage for fine line circuit disposal.
