A retainer assembly is adapted to secure a removable electronic unit within an avionics equipment mounting tray. The retainer assembly includes a latch having a base portion and a handle portion. The base portion is pivotally coupled to one of the removable electronic unit and the avionics equipment mounting tray. The handle portion projects outward from the base portion. The base portion includes a cam surface adapted to releasably contact the other of the removable electronic unit and the avionics equipment mounting tray.

ELECTRICAL HARNESS CONNECTION BOARD

An electrical board for connecting two electrical harnesses to each other includes a module holder and at least one connector module to establish the connection between the two electrical harnesses, said connector module comprising a base engaged with the module holder, a perforated core extending the base and allowing connection of the two harnesses to each other via plugs. The module holder includes a fixed jaw.

POWER DISTRIBUTION RACK ASSEMBLY

An apparatus for distributing power from a power source to a set of power outputs using a power distribution rack includes a manifold having a set of bus bars in a wall and coupling a power source to a set of electronic cards, wherein the electronic cards route the power from the power source to the power outputs.

Backshell installation guide

An installation guide for a backshell installation guide is disclosed herein. The installation guide includes a first feature formed therein to receive at least a portion of the backshell to retain the backshell in the installation guide. The backshell guide also includes a second feature formed therein to align the installation guide with a portion of an equipment rack containing a circuit card to which the backshell is to be connected. The alignment feature positions mating connectors of the backshell in alignment with connectors of the circuit card facilitating interconnection of the mating connectors and the connectors by moving the installation guide toward the circuit card with the alignment feature engaged with the portion of the equipment rack.

An avionics power management panel and power panel controller assembly where the panel includes a cabinet including a set of walls at least partially defining an interior with a printed circuit board. The power panel controller assembly can be provided in the interior and can include a chassis housing one or more power panel control modules adapted to couple to the printed circuit board via one or more complementary PCB connectors.

Hoist assembly and method of lifting

A removable hoist assembly for lifting a load up and into a confined space in the form of a kit has a support structure releasably coupled to overhead structural beams in the confined space, a motor releasably coupled to the support structure above the support structure between the overhead structural beams, a hoist arm releasably coupled to the support structure to be rotatable and extendable with respect to the support structure, and a cable supported by the hoist arm. The cable has a free end positioned proximate a distal end of the hoist arm and configured to couple to the load and a terminal end coupled to the motor such that the cable extends and retracts with respect to the motor. The hoist arm support structure spreads the weight of the motor, hoist arm and the load across a plurality of the overhead structural beams.

Solid-state stacked die contactors

A solid-state contactor includes a housing, a lead, a bus plate, and an end connector. The lead extends through the housing and into an interior of the housing. The bus plate is disposed within the housing interior and mounts a die which is electrically connected to the lead through the bus plate. The end connector extends between the bus plate and the lead, attaching to the bus plate at an angle for coupling a plurality of bus plates with die to the lead in a stacked arrangement.

ELECTRONICS TESTER

A tester apparatus is described. Various components contribute to the functionality of the tester apparatus, including an insertion and removal apparatus, thermal posts, independent gimbaling, the inclusion of a photo detector, a combination of thermal control methods, a detect circuitry in a socket lid, through posts with stand-offs, and a voltage retargeting.
