A measuring and/or control system (1), to control for example a machine tool, comprises at least a first and a second unit, each comprising electronic circuits and at least one socket. The systems further includes a multipolar cable (8) containing a plurality of wires (8A) and having a first and a second end, each provided with a multipolar connector (9) adapted to be coupled to a socket of the first unit and second unit. At least one of the multipolar connectors of the multipolar cable is a fast wiring multipolar connector (12) provided with a first body (12A) and a second body (12B), adapted to be plugged into the first body. The first body comprises a support with two opposite faces, a first group of electrical contacts fixed to one of the faces of the support and adapted to be coupled to one of the sockets of the first or second unit, and a second group of electrical contacts fixed to the other face of the support. The second body comprises a frame with a plurality of seats (12S), a plurality of perforating electrical contacts (12P) that are adapted to be coupled to the second group of contacts of the first group, are housed in the seats, and are configured to perforate an insulating sheath which covers the wires (8A) and to fasten and electrically connect the wires and the perforating electrical contacts to each other, and a plurality of movable elements (12D) coupled to the frame and adapted to cooperate, in the seats, with the wires housed in the multipolar cable (8) in order to fasten and electrically connect the wires (8A) and the perforating electrical contacts (12P) to each other.

A modular I/O device includes a terminal base with a terminal block that includes a plurality of wiring connectors. An auxiliary wiring device includes a plurality of auxiliary wiring connectors and is selectively physically connectable to the terminal base in an operative position and selectively physically removable from the terminal base. The terminal block includes a receiver and the auxiliary wiring device includes a body including at least one mounting tab that projects outwardly from the body and that is located in the receiver. The receiver includes a projecting lip about which the auxiliary wiring device is pivotable relative to the receiver on a pivot axis. The terminal base includes at least one catch and the auxiliary wiring device further includes at least one latch arm that is adapted to engage the catch when the auxiliary wiring device is physically connected to said terminal base in its operative position.

TERMINAL BLOCK WITH RETENTION FEATURES FOR A REMOVABLE I/O MODULE

An input/output device includes a terminal base to be mounted to a structure. A terminal block is connected to the terminal base and includes wiring terminals to be connected to I/O field wiring. A latch body is connected to the terminal block. The latch body is manually movable between an unlatched position and a latched position. An input/output module is connected to the terminal base adjacent the terminal block and includes a locking tab. The latch body, when in the latched position, engages the locking tab and captures the input/output module to the terminal block. The terminal block includes first and second module retaining rails or projections that engage respective slots of the input/output module to restrain the module relative to the terminal base. The terminal base includes first and second notches that receive inner ends of the first and second module retaining projections to rigidify the terminal base.

A circuit board assembly includes a circuit board having a first side and a second side opposite to the first side, a light sensor arranged on the circuit board and electrically coupled to the circuit board, and a camera module. The camera module includes a connector arranged on the circuit board and electrically coupled to the circuit board.
