A method for manufacturing a substrate structure is provided. The method includes the following steps. A substrate is provided. The substrate has a patterned first metal layer, a pattern second metal layer and a through hole. After that, a first dielectric layer and a second dielectric layer are formed at a first surface and a second surface of the substrate, respectively. The second surface is opposite to the first surface. Then, the first dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer are patterned. After that, a first trace layer is formed at a surface of the patterned first dielectric layer. The first trace layer is embedded into the patterned first dielectric layer and is coplanar with the first dielectric layer. Then, a second trace layer is formed on a surface of the second dielectric layer.

In an embodiment, a structure includes a PCB including insulating layers with respective metal layers being disposed therebetween. Each of first layers of the insulating layers includes a first fiberglass content. A second layer of the insulating layers has a second fiberglass content less than the first fiberglass content. For example, in some embodiments, the second insulating layer does not include a fiberglass matrix.

Method for manufacturing a multi-layer circuit board capable of being applied with electrical testing

A manufacturing method for a multi-layer circuit board is provided. The multi-layer circuit structure is disposed on the delivery loading plate through the bottom dielectric layer, the delivery loading plate and the patterned metal interface layer expose the conductive corrosion-barrier layer, and the top-layer circuit of the multi-layer circuit structure is electrically connected to the conductive corrosion-barrier layer through the bottom-layer circuit and the electrical connection layer. Therefore, before the multi-layer circuit board is delivered to the assembly company or before the multi-layer circuit board is packaged with chips, an electrical testing can be applied to the multi-layer circuit board to check if the multi-layer circuit board can be operated normally or not.

The first opening has a first opening width in a first cross section passing through the first protrusion and a center of the first opening and taken along a thickness direction of the base. The second opening has a second opening width in the first cross section. The first opening width is smaller than the second opening width.
