Various motor cooling arrangements are disclosed. The surface cleaning apparatus can be configured to clean multiple surfaces, including hard and soft floor surfaces.
SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus includes a housing including a base adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned, a fluid delivery system, and a recovery system. The surface cleaning apparatus can be configured to clean multiple surfaces, including hard and soft surfaces, and for different cleaning modes, including wet cleaning, dry vacuum cleaning, and self-cleaning. A brushroll is provided on the base, along with various wipers, squeegees, and/or fluid dispensers.
Vacuum cleaner including debris tube and handle
An upright vacuum cleaner includes a cleaning head for removing debris from a floor, a debris tube connected to the cleaning head for receiving the debris, and a steering handle connected to the debris tube. The upright vacuum cleaner also includes a hinge connecting the debris tube to the cleaning head such that the debris tube rotates relative to the cleaning head. The upright vacuum cleaner further includes braces to support the debris tube as the debris tube rotates relative to the cleaning head. The braces are disposed on opposite sides of the debris tube. Each brace includes a bearing connected to the cleaning head to allow the brace to rotate relative to the cleaning head.
ROBOT CLEANER
Provided is a robot cleaner including a main body including a suction portion disposed thereon, main wheels for moving the main body, and a side brush assembly disposed on the main body and rotating with a rotation shaft perpendicular to a rotation shaft of the main wheels, the side brush assembly includes a housing for forming an exterior of the side brush assembly, a first force transmitter disposed in the housing and rotating by receiving a driving force, a belt connected to the first force transmitter, a second force transmitter connected to the first force transmitter by the belt to receive a rotational force of the first force transmitter, and a side brush coupled to the second force transmitter.
Vacuum cleaner and suction nozzle thereof
A vacuum cleaner and suction nozzle thereof. The vacuum cleaner has a housing, dust collecting unit, filter assembly, motor assembly and roller brush. The suction nozzle has a bottom housing, front cover and roller brush. The housing includes a concave cavity; the bottom housing and the front cover latch together to form a chamber; the roller brush assembly and the separation piece fit into this chamber; the separation piece corresponds to a transmission component of the roller brush. When rotating at high speed, the roller brush forms a seamless and closed separation face with the separation piece, preventing foreign matter from entering the transmission component, thus avoiding reduced suction and damage due to a tangled synchronous belt or a shaft jamming a roller brush bearing.
Vacuum cleaner and cleaning accessory for a vacuum cleaner
A cleaning accessory for a vacuum cleaner comprises a housing. A rotatable cleaning brush is rotatably mounted to the housing. The rotatable cleaning brush has at least one flexible cleaning element projecting outwards from a side of the housing. The at least one flexible cleaning element is configured to rotate and engage with a surface to be cleaned. A rotatable cleaning bar rotatably is mounted within the housing and the rotatable cleaning brush is rotatably coupled to the rotatable cleaning bar. At least a portion of the rotatable cleaning brush is seated within the rotatable cleaning bar or a drive mechanism coupled to the rotatable cleaning bar.

A surface cleaning head includes dual rotating agitators (e.g., a leading roller and a brush roll) and a removable cover for covering a top of the agitators and allowing access to the agitators from a top of the surface cleaning head. The dual agitators may be used to facilitate capturing of debris in the air flow into a suction conduit on the underside of the surface cleaning head. The brush roll may be located in a brush roll chamber and at least partially in an opening to the suction conduit. The leading roller may be positioned adjacent to and in advance of the suction conduit opening such that the leading roller engages debris and moves the debris toward the brush roll and the opening. The leading roller may be removable from the housing and held in place by the removable cover. The cover may be coupled using isolated latching mechanisms.
Cleaning apparatus with selectable combing unit for removing debris from cleaning roller
A cleaning apparatus comprising a housing, at least one agitator configured to be rotatably coupled to the housing, a combing unit comprising a plurality of spaced teeth configured to contact the agitator for preventing build up and removing debris, and a switch configured to cause the combing unit to move between an active mode in which the plurality of spaced teeth are configured to contact the agitator for preventing build up and removing debris, and an inactive mode in which the plurality of spaced teeth are configured to not contact the agitator. The switch may be configured to cause the combing unit to rotate about a pivot axis between the active mode and the inactive mode. The switch may be configured to convert linear motion of the switch into the rotational motion of the combing unit about the pivot axis.
Robotic vacuum cleaner
A robotic vacuum cleaner for autonomously cleaning surfaces. The robotic vacuum cleaner comprises an appliance housing and a side arm. The side arm is movably mounted on the appliance housing. A brush element is disposed on the side arm. The side arm projects, in a first position, in front of the appliance housing in part and, in a second position, is received by the appliance housing. The side arm comprising a first arm element having a first end and a second end. The first arm element is movably mounted in the appliance housing at the first end. The side arm comprises a second arm element having a first end and a second end. The second arm element is movably mounted in the appliance housing at the first end and is movably connected to the second end of the first arm element at the second end.
CLUTCH DEVICE FOR UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER AND UPRIGHT VACUUM CLEANER HAVING SAME
A clutch device for an upright vacuum cleaner and an upright vacuum cleaner having the same are provided. The clutch device is disposed between an electric motor assembly and a machine body assembly of the upright vacuum cleaner, the electric motor assembly includes an electric motor housing and an electric motor, the machine body assembly includes a machine body and a bridging member rotatably connected to the electric motor housing. The clutch device includes a slide chute; and a triggering member having a first end provided with a sliding column slidaby fitted in the slide chute and a second end provided with a toggling rod configured to stir the electric motor to move. When the bridging member drives the slide chute to move, the sliding column slides along the slide chute to rotate the triggering member. When the triggering member rotates, the toggling rod stirs the electric motor to rotate.
