Multiple fuse device
The present invention provides a multiple fuse device that is compatible with various ratings and reduces an increase in manufacturing cost. A multiple fuse device includes an input terminal, an external terminal, a bus bar that includes a circuit portion disposed between the input terminal and the external terminal, and a housing that covers the bus bar. The external terminal includes an integral external terminal integrated with the circuit portion with a fusible portion interposed between the integral external terminal and the circuit portion, and a fuse-side external terminal that pairs up with a fuse connection terminal connected to the circuit portion. The fuse connection terminal and the fuse-side external terminal provided in a pair hold a fuse exteriorly in a removable manner, the fuse having a fusible portion connected between the fuse connection terminal and the fuse-side external terminal.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BOX
The electrical connection box includes a case, a frame that is made of a synthetic resin and whose position is fixed relative to the case, fixed terminals that are fixed to the frame and can be connected to external terminals, a fuse having terminals that are put over the fixed terminals, stud bolts for fastening the external terminals, the fixed terminals, and the terminals of the fuse together, and a holding member that holds the stud bolts. The frame includes an attached portion to which the holding member is attached.
Method of manufacturing electrical connection block
An electric connection block is provided with a bus bar formed from a press-formed product of a metal plate member and a resin-made housing insert molded integrally with the bus bar. The bus bar is provided with a flat plate-shaped main plate part and a standing terminal erected by bending a base end connected to a portion of the main plate part relative to the main plate part. The electric connection block is manufactured by insert molding the housing integrally with the bus bar in a before-bending state where the standing terminal is located on the same plane as the main plate part, and bending the base end of the standing terminal to thereby erect the standing terminal relative to the main plate part after the insert molding of the housing.
BATTERY TERMINAL FUSE MODULE
A fuse module including an battery clamp, a fuse assembly including a mounting block, a bus bar on a first side of the mounting block in contact with the battery clamp, fuse terminals on a second side of the mounting block connected to the bus bar by fusible elements, and a terminal post extending through one of the fuse terminals for facilitating electrical connection to a first electrical component, the fuse module further including a mounting cradle holding the fuse assembly and the battery clamp, the mounting cradle including a mounting post extending through the battery clamp, the bus bar, the mounting block, and one of the fuse terminals for facilitating connection to a second electrical component and for securing the fuse module components together, wherein the mounting post is surrounded by a tubular sleeve extending between the bus bar and the fuse terminal through which the mounting post extends.
Multi-load fuse block
A multi-load fuse block, which receives insertion of at least two safety fuses therein, includes: a housing, a first surface of the housing configured with a first fuse slot and at least one second fuse slot; a conductive joint, configured on a second surface of the housing, and in electric connection with the first fuse slot; a first load conductive wire, configured on a third surface of the housing; and a second load conductive wire, configured on a fourth surface of the housing, where the first fuse slot and second fuse slot allow a plurality of safety fuses to be inserted therein or separated therefrom. The first load conductive wires and second load conductive wires of the housing can provide electric connection for automotive electronics, allowing the safety fuses to be in electric connection with more automotive electronics so as to protect them from overcurrent.
FUSE ASSEMBLY
A fuse assembly includes an insulating block having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a side surface therebetween. The insulating block defines cavities extending therethrough. Each cavity defines a resilient lock arm. A fuse assembly also includes a first terminal stud secured within a first cavity by a first lock arm, a second terminal stud secured within a second cavity by a second lock arm, and a bus bar disposed parallel to the bottom surface of the insulating block. The bus bar is interconnected to the first terminal stud by a lower terminal connected to the bus bar and an upper terminal disposed parallel to the upper surface. The bus bar is interconnected to the second terminal stud by a fusible link having a lower fuse terminal connected to the bus bar and an upper fuse terminal disposed generally parallel to the upper surface.
