Dish washer and washing method using the same
A dish washer and a washing method using the dish washer. As an inner washing tub is rotated in a state where a dish or a cooking utensil is accommodated in a receiving space such that a food side thereof faces an outer circumference of an inner washing tub, food residues are detached from the dish or the cooking utensil by a centrifugal force and thus the dish or the cooking utensil is efficiently washed. The configuration for generating a high-pressure water current is not required, so that it is possible to produce products at low cost, and the configuration is relatively simple, so that it is possible to produce products having various sizes.
Dishwasher with spray system assembly
A spray system assembly for a household appliance, such as a dishwasher, wherein the spray system assembly can include a diverter housing with a diverter valve, a sprayer mount, and a rotatable sprayer. The rotatable sprayer can include a hub and a spray head. The hub of the rotatable sprayer is removably attached to the sprayer mount that is coupled to the diverter housing.
Dishwasher with heat pump
The present disclosure relates to a dishwasher having a heat pump, including a dishwasher body provided with a tub configured with a washing space therein and a sump provided at a bottom of the tub to temporarily accommodate washing water; a spray arm provided inside the washing space to spray washing water; a circulation pump that pumps the washing water of the sump; a washing water guide that guides the washing water pumped by the circulation pump to the spray arm; a heat pump provided with a compressor, an evaporator, an expansion apparatus, and a condenser provided to exchange heat in contact with the washing water of the washing water guide; and a controller that controls the heat pump to increase the temperature of the washing water of the washing water guide. As a result, it may be possible to suppress heat loss from being generated while heating washing water.
Dishwashing appliance having a multi-zone spray assembly to alternate the spray of wash fluid
A dishwashing appliance and a spray assembly, as provided herein, may include a manifold body, and a cammed diverter valve. The manifold body may be mountable within a wash chamber. The manifold body may define a fluid inlet, a first spray zone, and a second spray zone. The first spray zone may include a first spray outlet. The second spray zone may include a second spray outlet spaced apart from the first spray outlet. The cammed diverter valve may be mounted within the manifold body and be movable between a first zone position and a second zone position. The first zone position may direct wash fluid to the first spray zone and restrict wash fluid to the second spray zone. The second zone position may direct wash fluid to the second spray zone and restrict wash fluid to the first spray zone.
DISHWASHER, METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A dishwasher includes a pump facility to selectively supply washing liquor to first and second spray apparatuses, an intensive spray apparatus assigned to the first or second spray apparatus and brought into an activated or deactivated state by a switch valve, and a control apparatus for carrying out a washing program and for detecting a first pump flow while the first spray apparatus is supplied with washing liquor and detecting a second pump flow while the second spray apparatus is supplied with washing liquor, so as to form a current differential value as a function of the first and second pump flows and to ascertain a current switch state of the intensive spray apparatus as a function of the current differential value, a number of stored earlier differential values and a predetermined class differential value. The control apparatus adapts the washing program as a function of the current switch state.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL PUMP ASSEMBLY
A pump assembly is disclosed comprising a pump body having a first pump stage housed in the pump body including a fluid inlet and a first and a second fluid outlet. A flow feed chamber is housed in the pump body in fluid communication with the second fluid outlet. A second pump stage housed in the pump body is in fluid communication with the flow feed chamber and includes at least one fluid outlet connected to the second pump stage. A valve assembly is operable into a first position to fluidically connect the fluid inlet through the first pump stage to the first fluid outlet. The valve assembly is further operable into a second position to fluidically connect the first pump stage to the second fluid outlet and the flow feed chamber and the flow feed chamber fluidically connected to the at least one fluid outlet through the second pump stage.
DIVERTER ASSEMBLY FOR DISHWASHER
A dishwasher is provided having a diverter assembly. The diverter assembly may include a diverter disk moveable between an upper and a lower position. The diverter disk may include a diverter head defining an opening and a radial center, and a disk boss attached to the diverter head at a radial center of the diverter head. The disk boss may define a disk channel extending below the diverter head. The diverter disk may further include an upper spring guide extending below the disk boss and located within the disk channel, a return spring extending below the upper spring guide within the disk channel, and a lower spring guide extending through the return spring. The return spring may have a top end attached to the upper spring guide and a bottom end attached to the lower spring guide.
SYSTEMS FOR LIQUID DIVERSION IN APPLIANCES
A diverter assembly for a dishwasher appliance includes a housing and a cam sleeve with a plurality of passages. The cam sleeve defines a first portion of a plurality of cam teeth. The diverter assembly also includes a diverter plate rotatably mounted within the housing, and the diverter plate includes a plurality of passages and a plurality of guide teeth. Additionally, the diverter assembly includes a cam post coupled to the housing at the cam sleeve. The cam post defines a second portion of the plurality of cam teeth such that the cam sleeve and the cam post collectively form the plurality of cam teeth. The plurality of cam teeth mesh with the plurality of guide teeth at the central passage of the housing such that the diverter plate rotates relative to the housing when the diverter plate vertically translates within the housing.
DISHWASHER WITH ADJUSTABLE STRAW CARRIER
A carrier for one or more straws of an appliance such as a dish washing appliance. The carrier and/or rack may be in fluid communication with one or more spray elements when in a stowed position within a dishwasher tub. The one or more carriers may route fluid from the one or more spray elements to wash an interior and/or an exterior of at least one straw. The carrier may include one or more bridges projecting inwardly towards the one or more straws defining one or more pathways for received fluid. The body of the carrier may include a lid and/or latch. The carrier may be adjustable to engage one or more straws of varying lengths. The carrier may include an adjustable end and a fixed end.
