SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENDOVASCULAR DEVICE DETECTION AND APPOSITION MEASUREMENT
Devices, systems, and methods for stent detection and apposition are disclosed. Embodiments obtain a plurality of images of intravascular image data of a vessel wall and an endovascular device, generate a signal that represents the plurality of images, identify one or more images that correspond to the endovascular device based on the signal that represents the plurality of images, generate a representation of a three-dimensional (3D) shape of the endovascular device based on the one or more images, determine an apposition value of the endovascular device relative to the vessel wall using a representation of a 3D shape of a lumen segment that corresponds to the endovascular device, the apposition value based on a volume difference between the 3D shape of the lumen segment and the 3D shape of the endovascular device, and present information indicating the apposition value.
Intraoral imaging apparatus, medical apparatus, and program
An intraoral imaging apparatus, a medical apparatus, and a program capable of providing auxiliary data for determination regarding diseases having differences in intraoral findings are provided. The intraoral imaging apparatus includes: an imaging device that acquires an intraoral image; a light source that emits light to a subject of the imaging device; a storage apparatus that stores an algorithm for performing determination of a specific disease; and an arithmetic apparatus, in which the arithmetic apparatus executes: a determination process of determining a possibility of the predetermined disease based on the image and the algorithm; and an output process of outputting a result of the determination process.
Medical image processing device, endoscope system, medical image processing method, and program
There are provided a medical image processing device, an endoscope system, a medical image processing method, and a program which detect an optimal lesion region according to an in-vivo position of a captured image. Images at a plurality of in-vivo positions of a subject are acquired from medical equipment that sequentially captures and displays in real time the images; positional information indicating the in-vivo position of the acquired image is acquired; from among a plurality of region-of-interest detection units that detect a region of interest from an input image and correspond to the plurality of in-vivo positions, respectively, a region-of-interest detection unit corresponding to the position indicated by the positional information is selected; and the selected region-of-interest detection unit detects a region of interest from the acquired image.
ARTICULATED STRUCTURED LIGHT BASED-LAPAROSCOPE
In a method of using a structured-light based system, real-time 2D images of a portion of a field of view are captured using an endoscope. A portion of an object in the field of view is illuminated with a structured light pattern, and light reflected from the field of view is detected. From the reflected light, a 3D image of the field of view is constructed, and 3D locations of points on a surface of the object are determined. The real time 3D spatial position of the endoscope and/or a surgical tool is determined. If a distance between the surface the endoscope and/or surgical tool, as determined using the 3D spatial position, falls below a predetermined distance, an alert is generated to notify a user.
VIRTUAL ENHANCEMENT OF A CAMERA IMAGE
According to a method for virtual enhancement of a camera image, a camera image depicting an object is generated. A geometric description of a virtual auxiliary object as a surface in space and a pose of the auxiliary object with respect to the object are specified, wherein the auxiliary object separates part of the object from the rest of the object. An enhanced image is generated based on a superimposition of the camera image with a representation of the auxiliary object depending on the geometric description and the pose of the auxiliary object by a computing unit and displayed on a display device. The enhanced image is generated and displayed in such a way that the auxiliary object has a spatially variable transparency.
Systems And Methods For Changing The Direction Of View During Video Guided Clinical Procedures Using Real-Time Image Processing
Arthroscopes and laparoscopes are available in several lens cuts to cover different clinical situations of interest, with the surgeon having to exchange the optics in order to change the direction of view of the camera. The presently disclosed embodiments disclose real-time image processing systems and methods that enable the user to arbitrarily change the direction of view of a surgical camera with the advantage of avoiding the disruption in workflow caused by the physical exchange of the optics. In addition, the presently disclosed embodiments disclose performing zoom along an arbitrary viewing direction (directional zoom) that enables to increase the scale of a region of interest without decreasing the overall field-of-view or losing image contents.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
There is provided an image processing device comprising a processor, in which the processor acquires a plurality of endoscopic images obtained by picking up images of an observation target with an endoscope, calculates a raw score related to a determination of a severity or a stage of a disease of the observation target, on the basis of each of the endoscopic images, decides a final score on the basis of the raw score, and performs control to display the final score and/or a change over time of the final score in real time on a display.
Endoscope defogging
An endoscope includes a light source coupled to emit light, and a lens disposed proximate to a distal tip of the endoscope tube and structured to absorb at least some of the light. A controller is coupled to the light source, and the controller includes logic that when executed by the controller causes the endoscope to perform operations, including adjusting an emission profile of the light source to heat the lens with the light, and heating the lens mitigates formation of fog on the lens.
SCANNING SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING A HEALTH-CONDITION
Disclosed is a scanning system for determining a health-condition based on scanning an intraoral object. More specifically, the present disclosure is related to different methods of providing the health-condition, for example by adapting the scanner with different scanning modes.
METHOD, APPARATUS, DEVICE AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM FOR A MEDICAL ASSISTANCE OPERATION
Example implementations of the present disclosure relate to method, apparatus, device and computer-readable storage medium for a medical assistance operation. In a method, input data is obtained from an endoscope; and information related to an operation behavior of the endoscope is determined based on the input data. According to the above method, the information related to the operation behaviors of the endoscope may be provided in real time based on the current spot of the endoscope. Accordingly, a medical assistance operation may be further provided to a doctor in real time during the endoscopic examination. Furthermore, corresponding apparatus, device and computer storage medium are also provided.
