Anatomical surface assessment methods, devices and systems
Methods for assessing a skin surface of a patient and associated systems and devices are described herein. A method configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology can include, for example, receiving a three-dimensional data set representative of the patient's skin surface and determining a boundary of a feature of the patient's skin in the three-dimensional data set. The method can further include determining, with a processor, a three-dimensional surface area of the feature within the boundary. In some embodiments, the method can also include identifying a plurality of sub-regions within the boundary and identifying one or more tissue types in each sub-region.
Neural event detection
A neural monitoring system for detecting an artificially-induced mechanical muscle response to an electrical stimulus at a stimulation frequency includes a mechanical sensor and a processor in communication with the mechanical sensor. The mechanical sensor is configured to be placed in mechanical communication with the muscle and to generate a mechanomyography output signal corresponding to a sensed mechanical movement of the muscle. The processor is configured to receive the mechanomyography output signal from the mechanical sensor and determine a frequency component of the mechanomyography output signal that has a peak magnitude and to detect the occurrence of an artificially-induced mechanical muscle response therefrom.
Neural event detection
A neural monitoring system for detecting an artificially-induced mechanical muscle response to a stimulus provided within an intracorporeal treatment area includes a mechanical sensor and a processor in communication with the mechanical sensor. The mechanical sensor is configured to be placed in mechanical communication with the muscle and to generate a mechanomyography output signal corresponding to a sensed mechanical movement of the muscle. The processor is configured to receive the mechanomyography output signal from the mechanical sensor and determine a frequency component of the mechanomyography output signal that has a peak magnitude and to detect the occurrence of an artificially-induced mechanical muscle response therefrom.
NEUROSTIMULATION AND MONITORING USING SENSOR ENABLED WOUND MONITORING AND THERAPY APPARATUS
An apparatus for monitoring neural response and/or providing treatment includes an electrical stimulator configured to apply electrical stimulation, and one or more processors configured to analyze stimulation response. The one or more processors can be further configured to operate the electrical stimulator, adjust the electrical stimulation, and determine one or more wound characteristics based at least in part on at least one of the electrical stimulation or the stimulation response, e.g. a movement of a patient, a color absorption characteristic, or other physiological responses. An indication of the one or more wound characteristics can be provided.

Moisture Assessment System and Method for Wound Care
A Wound Moisture and Assessment System includes a flexible coupon containing one or more electrochemical moisture sensors for measuring a moisture profile of a wound. The coupon is activated by a wireless RF scanner that provides power to the coupon for taking moisture measurements, receives the moisture measurements therefrom, and transmits the measurements to a computing device. The moisture measurements can be represented as a wound moisture map that allows a patient or caregiver to assess the health and healing progress of a wound such as an ulcer.

ILLUMINATED ENDOSCOPIC PEDICLE PROBE WITH DYNAMIC REAL TIME MONITORING FOR PROXIMITY TO NERVES
An endoscopic pedicle probe for use during spinal surgery to form a hole in a pedicle for reception of a pedicle screw has an enlarged proximal end for cooperation with the hand of the surgeon and an elongate shaft terminating in a distal tip that may be pushed through the pedicle to form the hole. An integrated endoscope and light extend through the shaft to enable the surgeon to visually observe the target area, and a conduit extends through the shaft to convey a fluid to irrigate the target area. In a preferred form the probe is connected with an electromyographic or mechanomyographic monitoring system to alert the surgeon when a breach is about to occur. In a further embodiment, two endoscopes are associated with the probe. The complete probe may be disposable, or just the tip may be detachable for disposal or replacement.
