DIABETES THERAPY BASED ON DETERMINATION OF FOOD ITEM
Devices, systems, and techniques for guiding therapy delivery to a diabetes patient is described. Some devices, systems, and techniques proactively monitor the patient's food consumption and (if needed) adapt the patient's diabetes therapy accordingly. In one example, a system comprises one or more sensors configured to capture a representation of the object, and processing circuitry configured to determine data corresponding to the representation of the object, wherein the data comprises information identifying the object as a particular food item; generate food item information based on the information identifying the object as the particular food item, wherein the food item information comprises at least one of nutrition information or volume information of the particular food item, generate therapy information for the patient based on the food item information, and output content indicative of at least one of the therapy information or the food item information.
SOFT TISSUE BALANCING IN ROBOTIC KNEE SURGERY
A system and method may be used to evaluate soft tissue. A knee arthroplasty soft tissue evaluation may use an adjustable spacer, such as varying sized physical spacers or an inflatable bladder, along with a sensor to measure force, pressure, gap distance, or the like during a range of motion test. A method may include maintaining an equal pressure or gap distance for a medial component and a lateral component of an adjustable spacer during a range of motion test. Information, including, for example a maximum or minimum gap distance or pressure may be determined during the range of motion test. The determined information may be output for display or used to update a surgical plan.
RANGE OF MOTION EVALUATION IN ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY
A system and method may be used to evaluate soft tissue. A hip joint evaluation may use an adjustable spacer, such as varying sized physical spacers or an inflatable bladder, along with a sensor to measure force, pressure, gap distance, or the like, for example during a range of motion test. A method may include using a maximum pressure during the range of motion test to determine a maximum pressure during the range of motion test. The maximum pressure may be output for display on a user interface.
Program, information processor, and information processing method
There is provided a program, an information processor, and an information processing method that make it possible to obtain position information for sites of a body with higher accuracy. The program causes a computer to implement a correction function of referencing a first output obtained by performing a first process on sensor data acquired by two or more motion sensors attached to two or more sites of a body and a second output obtained by performing a second process on the sensor data, and correcting position information for attachment sites to which the motion sensors are attached.
Method and apparatus for providing economical, portable deficit-adjusted adaptive assistance during movement phases of an impaired ankle
A method is described for providing deficit-adjusted adaptive assistance during movement phases of an impaired ankle. The method includes determining, on the processor, a value for a deficit parameter for each movement phase of a compound ankle function based on a difference between a parameter trace for a normal subject and the parameter trace for an impaired subject. The method further includes determining, on the processor, an adaptive magnitude for the robot-applied torque based on the value for the deficit parameter. The method further includes applying, to the robot joint, the adaptive magnitude for the robot-applied torque in only a first plane for the current movement phase, based on an adaptive timing. An apparatus is also described for providing deficit-adjusted adaptive assistance during movement phases of the impaired ankle.
Presenting content based on activity
Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods for presenting content based on activity. In various implementations, a device includes a sensor, a non-transitory memory and one or more processors coupled with the sensor and the non-transitory memory. In various implementations, a method includes obtaining environmental data via the sensor. In some implementations, the method includes identifying a physical activity of a user of the device based on the environmental data. In some implementations, the method includes obtaining contextual data associated with the device or the user of the device. In some implementations, the method includes presenting content based on the physical activity of the user and the contextual data associated with the device or the user of the device.
Motion control via an article of clothing
Techniques for motion controls based on artificial intelligence are described. According to one aspect of the present invention, instructions are provided based on motions performed by a user in reference to motions performed by an instructor. Various parameters about the motions by the user are analyzed, derived and compared with stored parameters. An animation based on the user or an avatar representing the user is rendered per the motion parameters of the user. Various techniques or algorithms are designed to provide different perspective views of the motions by the user and the instructor and compare the motions or poses by the user and the instructor.
THERMAL DATA ANALYSIS FOR DETERMINING LOCATION, TRAJECTORY AND BEHAVIOR
The system is configured to locate, track and/or analyze activities of living beings in an environment. The system does not require the input of personal biometric data. The sensor system detects infrared (IR) energy from a living being moving in an environment, determines a temperature of the living being based on IR energy data of the IR energy, projects the temperature onto a grid having sequential pixels, determines serial changes of the temperature in the sequential pixels and determines a trajectory of the living being based on the serial changes of the temperature in the sequential pixels.
Method for estimating attachment posture of inertial sensor
An acceleration vector is detected in a kept-still state of a measurement target portion such as thighs of a target person to which an inertial sensor is attached, and further, another acceleration vector is detected in a state in which the target person is allowed to carry out exercise such that a posture of the measurement target portion is caused to change in a direction around a Yb axis with a Yb-axis direction of the measurement target portion maintained in a direction that perpendicularly intersects a vertical direction, direction in a sensor coordinate system the Yb-axis direction of the measurement target portion corresponds to is identified on the basis of a cross product vector of the acceleration vector and another acceleration vector.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PERSONALIZED EXERCISE PROTOCOLS AND TRACKING THEREOF
Systems and methods for providing a customized exercise protocol to a computing device of a user. As the user performs the exercise protocol, one or more cameras of the computing device can track the user's movements. The user's movement are assessed to determine if proper form and technique is being used.
