SKIN PRICK TEST DEVICE
20200022629 · 2020-01-23 ·

The present invention relates to the field of test devices. The skin prick test device according the present invention mainly comprises conjoined bottles, a tray and pricking devices, wherein each set of conjoined bottles, which comprises a large bottle body and a small bottle body, is arranged in clamping holes of the tray, and liquid medicine can flow into the small bottle body from the large bottle body through an inclined surface, thereby avoiding frequent refilling of the liquid medicine. In addition, each connecting base has a trapezoidal cross section with its bottom surface being flush with that of the holder, and is gradually widened from the top down to fit with the parallel clamp plates on the tray, so that the pricking device has better stability as both ends thereof are prevented from excessively shaking longitudinally when the pricking device is taken out of and put into the tray.

Disclosed is a replaceable blood lancet device in which a needle unit including a needle carrier and a front slider is used as inserted in a tubular barrel, and the used needle unit or needle carrier is replaced after use. The replaceable blood lancet device minimizes waste of resources by reducing the parts to be discarded in reuse. In addition, the front slider inserted in the barrel is easily loaded and unloaded through the withdrawal grip portion provided in the front slider. Further, an action spring for elastically pushing the needle carrier in a frontward direction, and a rear end cap for supporting the actuation spring to be compressed to generate an elastic force are provided, so that the blood lancet device can perform blood collection based on the elastic force of the spring.

A lancing device having a housing with a proximal end, a distal end and a longitudinal axis. The lancing device also has a lancet carrier translationally supported with respect to the housing. The lancet carrier has a proximal end and a distal end. The lancing device additionally has a charging mechanism and/or an ejection mechanism adapted to pivot into the lancing device for engaging portions of the lancet carrier to perform the same.

Apparatus for obtaining and analyzing a blood sample with a lancet coupling mechanism

An apparatus for obtaining and analyzing a blood sample is presented. The apparatus comprises an integrated drive unit having a common drive source and a drive force transmission gearing that couples a lancet drive, a device for advancing a magazine, and a sample transfer device to the drive source. A tensioning rotor and a drive rotor are mounted so that they are rotatable coaxially to one another. A first cam control converts the rotation of the drive rotor into a radial forward and reverse movement of a drive rod. A second cam control converts the rotational movement of the tensioning rotor into a linear movement of a link slide. A switching link moved by the link slide rotates the magazine an additional step. A third cam control converts the rotational movement of the tensioning rotor into a linear movement of a pressure tappet perpendicular to the piercing axis.

PEN NEEDLE ASSEMBLY

A pen needle, comprising a reusable adapter configured for attachment to a distal end of a medication pen, the adapter having a proximal needle for accessing the interior of the pen injector and a fitting on the distal side for mating with a patient end needle assembly, and a disposable patient-end needle assembly having a base configured for mating with the fitting on the distal side of the adapter and a patient-end needle extending from a distal end of the base.

Embodiments of the present invention provide magnetic lancet devices and methods for driving a lancet. For example, a magnetic lancet device may include a driving mechanism having a plurality of magnets and a lancet coupled to the driving mechanism. A magnetic interaction between the plurality of magnets is configured to drive the lancet from an engaged position to a penetrating position.

Pen needle assembly

A pen needle is provided with a plastic non-patient end. Since the non-patient end needle does not contact the patient, the needle can be formed with a larger diameter, permitting more secure attachment to a medication pen and greater medication flow from the cartridge through the cannula. In addition, a two-part hub construction comprising a needle bearing sub assembly and an adapter for attachment to the pen body may be used to lower materials volume and costs, and reduce sharps disposal. In embodiments, a hub according to the invention may be provided with a shield that provides an audible and/or tactile indication when full penetration depth of the needle is achieved. Windows on the shield may reveal a color band on the hub at the full-penetration depth position to provide the user with a visual indication that the pen needle has been used.

Lancet device with depth adjustment and lancet removal system and method

Lancet device includes a housing, a removable front cap mounted to the housing, a lancet holding member, and a trigger. A system is utilized for placing the lancet device in a trigger-set or armed position. A depth adjustment system includes a member that is at least partially rotatably mounted and that has an axis of rotation arranged substantially perpendicular to a center axis of the lancet holding member. An ejection system is utilized for at least one of preventing axial movement of the lancet holding member and removing or ejecting a lancet from the lancet holding member.

A surgical instrument includes a catheter, a distal segment, a needle, and a tracking sensor. The catheter is configured to be inserted into an anatomical passageway of a patient and includes a catheter lumen. The distal segment includes a port that communicates with the catheter lumen. The needle is slidably disposed within the catheter lumen and is translatable relative to the catheter between a retracted position and an extended position. A needle distal end is configured to extend through the port when the needle is in the extended position. The tracking sensor is coupled to the needle and is configured to generate a signal corresponding to a location of the needle distal end within the patient.
