Systems, methods, and devices for reducing the pain of glucose monitoring and diabetes treatment

The various embodiments disclosed herein are devices that deliver electrical stimulation and/or vibration stimulation to the surface of skin in proximity to insulin injections and/or glucose testing in order to decrease or eliminate the pain of these procedures.

LIQUID SAMPLE MEASUREMENT DEVICE WITH REMOVABLE LANCET OR BIOSENSOR

This liquid sample measurement device is provided with: a lancet mounting part to and from which a lancet device having a skin contact section for puncturing skin can be attached and detached; a sensor mounting part to which a biosensor, which is spotted with blood that comes out from the punctured skin, can be attached; and a measurement part that uses the biosensor attached to the sensor mounting part to measure the amounts of substances in the blood. The liquid sample measurement device includes a feature that makes it necessary to replace a lancet device that has been attached to the lance mounting part and has punctured skin, each time a lancet device is used to puncture skin.

Systems, Devices, and Methods For Bodily Fluid Sample Collection

Bodily fluid sample collection systems, devices, and method are provided. The device may comprise a first portion comprising at least a sample collection channel configured to draw the fluid sample into the sample collection channel via a first type of motive force. The sample collection device may include a second portion comprising a sample container for receiving the bodily fluid sample collected in the sample collection channel, the sample container operably engagable to be in fluid communication with the collection channel, whereupon when fluid communication is established, the container provides a second motive force different from the first motive force to move a majority of the bodily fluid sample from the channel into the container.

A blood glucose monitoring device includes a container, blood glucose test strips and a glucometer. The container includes a body and a cap. The cap or the body has thereon a rewritable signal component preconfigured with a test strip information. The test strip information includes traceability of the blood glucose test strips. The rewritable signal component sends by wireless communication technology an electronic signal carrying the test strip information. The glucometer includes a casing, processing module built-in with a comparison data, control panel, test slot, and signal processing component. The signal processing component receives the electronic signal of the container by the wireless communication technology. The processing module determines whether the test strip information matches the comparison data and creates a container-opened message when the determination is affirmative, thereby allowing the blood glucose test strips to be for use by the glucometer.
