Systems and methods of sample processing and fluid control in a fluidic system
This invention is in the field of medical devices. Specifically, the present invention provides portable medical devices that allow real-time detection of analytes from a biological fluid. The methods and devices are particularly useful for providing point-of-care testing for a variety of medical applications.
METHOD FOR ANALYZING BIOMATERIALS BASED ON IMAGE ANALYSIS AND PERSONALIZATION DATA
An electronic device and a control method of an electronic device are provided. The control method includes obtaining an image on the diagnostic kit through a camera included in the electronic device, the obtaining of the image based on receiving a user command for photographing a diagnostic kit including at least one test line discolored according to a reaction between a sample collected from a body of a user and a reagent, and a plurality of tone distinction markers with tones different from one another, obtaining a first color value on the at least one test line included in the obtained image and a second color value on each of the plurality of tone distinction markers, obtaining a first deviation information on a photographing environment of the obtained image, correcting a first data to obtain a biometric information measurement value, and obtaining a diagnostic result corresponding to the measurement value.
Medical device inserters and processes of inserting and using medical devices
An apparatus for insertion of a medical device in the skin of a subject is provided, as well as methods of inserting medical devices. Embodiments include removing a substantially cylindrical cap from an inserter to expose a substantially cylindrical sleeve, removing a cover from a substantially cylindrical container holding sensor components, and fitting the sensor components into the inserter.
ANALYTE SENSOR DEVICES, CONNECTIONS, AND METHODS
Devices associated with on-body analyte sensor units are disclosed. These devices include any of packaging and/or loading systems, applicators and elements of the on-body sensor units themselves. Also, various approaches to connecting electrochemical analyte sensors to and/or within associated on-body analyte sensor units are disclosed. The connector approaches variously involve the use of unique sensor and ancillary element arrangements to facilitate assembly of separate electronics assemblies and sensor elements that are kept apart until the end user brings them together.
Method of and apparatus for performing intravenous drip injection
A method of performing an intravenous drip injection includes a first step, a second step, a third step and a fourth step. A first step includes starting dosing an infusion solution containing a predetermined component by the intravenous drip injection to a dosing recipient. A second step includes extracting a body fluid from the dosing recipient being dosed with the infusion solution. A third step includes measuring a concentration of the predetermined component in the extracted body fluid. A fourth step includes varying the concentration of the predetermined component in the infusion solution, corresponding to the concentration of the predetermined component in the body fluid.
