ALIGNMENT TOOL FOR CHEST-WORN SENSOR DEVICE
20220395227 · 2022-12-15 · ·

An alignment tool helps a patient position a chest-worn sensor device, such as a device for daily at-home monitoring of cardiopulmonary health conditions. The alignment tool includes a sensor connector that engages with the sensor device and a strap. The strap includes a first portion that has a protruding region sized to fit into the patient's suprasternal notch. The strap includes a second portion that engages with the sensor connector. The sensor connector and the first portion of the strap with the suprasternal notch protrusion are separated by a configurable length. A healthcare provider may set the length based on the distance between the patient's suprasternal notch and heart.

Detection and Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Example inventions detect an occurrence of disturbance during a sleep period of a user. Examples receive data corresponding to a single parameter of the user during the sleep period, determine patterns in the data, and based on the patterns, determine a sleep disturbance severity index (“SDSI”) over the sleep period.

Apparatus for Early Detection of Cardiac Amyloidosis
20220386928 · 2022-12-08 ·

An improved wearable device for detecting progression of Cardiac Amyloidosis based on changes in relative values of characteristics of P-wave and R-wave is disclosed. In an embodiment of the invention, two electrodes the device are connected to user's skin surface to obtain traces of ECG signals. Thereafter, correction factors are determined for the obtained traces of ECG signals. A microprocessor included in the device applies correction factors on the traces of ECG signals to obtain characteristics of P-wave and R-wave. Finally, the microprocessor determines the ratio of the characteristics (such as amplitude) of the P-wave to the characteristics (such as amplitude) of the R-wave and records said ratio. Still further, the microprocessor compares all such recorded ratios or features, to determine and display if there is disease progression.
