Systems, processes and devices for real-time brain monitoring capture sensor data, process the data and dynamically update the interface in real-time.

Adaptive User Interaction Systems For Interfacing With Cognitive Processes
20220160286 · 2022-05-26 ·

A method for modifying cognitive processes includes receiving respective electroencephalogram (EEG) signals from EEG sensors, where the EEG signals are of a brain of a user. Features are extracted from the respective EEG signals. A cognitive state of the brain of the user is obtained from a first machine learning (ML) model that uses the features as input. Feedback parameters of a feedback signal are obtained from a second model that uses the cognitive state as input. The feedback signal is and provided to the user and using a user device according to the feedback parameters.

Method for Interpreting a Word, Phrase, and/or Command from Electromagnetic Brain Activity
20220155867 · 2022-05-19 · ·

This invention is a non-invasive Brain to Computer Interface (BCI) method for interpreting a word, phrase, or command from brain activity by identifying a pattern of electromagnetic brain activity which occurs when a person uses different action modalities to communicate a word, phrase, or command. This method can enable people with neuromuscular limitations and/or paralysis to communicate. It can also enable people to communicate and/or to control environmental devices via their thought patterns in situations where communication via touch screen, keyboard, mouse, voice command, or gesture recognition is not appropriate and/or possible.

COOKING ROBOT, COOKING ROBOT CONTROL DEVICE, AND CONTROL METHOD

There is provided a cooking robot, a cooking robot control device, and a control method that enable a cooking robot to customize a dish prepared according to a preference of an eater. The cooking robot (1) according to one aspect of the present technology controls a cooking operation performed by a cooking arm (321), using recipe data including a data set in which cooking operation data and cook biological data are linked, the cooking operation data describing information regarding an ingredient of a dish and information regarding an operation of a cook in a cooking process using the ingredient, and the cook biological data indicating a biological reaction of the cook measured in conjunction with a progress of the cooking process. The present technology can be applied to a cooking robot that operates an arm to cook.

A method is described, which provides electrical stimulation to a person, where the current flows from a subcranial electrode, through a target brain region, through a separate conductive path, and back to a subcutaneous electrode, and where the parameters of the electric current pulses are set to influence the resonant properties of the brain.

AUTOMATIC NOISE SIGNAL INTERVAL DETECTION METHOD AND DEVICE
20230255538 · 2023-08-17 ·

An automatic noise signal interval detection method and device are provided, and the method includes receiving input data and generating initial data in a time-frequency domain, calculating power for each epoch for each channel of the initial data, generating a power graph for a specific frequency region of each channel based on the power for each epoch, generating a baseline based on an average of each channel value on the power graph, and determining, as a noise signal interval, an interval exceeding a predetermined threshold based on the baseline on the power graph.

CUSTOMIZATION OF HELP INFORMATION BASED ON EEG DATA

A method is implemented by a computing device for helping a particular user use a user interface (UI). Electroencephalography (EEG) data is obtained that indicates brain activity of a particular user during a period in which that user views the UI and/or interprets help information that describes how to use the UI. Based on the EEG data, the computing device selects, from among multiple predefined cognitive states, the one or more cognitive states that characterize the particular user during the period. The computing device assists the particular user to use the UI by customizing the help information for the particular user based on the one or more selected cognitive states. A complementary computing device and computer program product are also disclosed.
