An apparatus and method for full-duplex millimeter wave mobile wireless communication are provided. The apparatus includes a Spatial Division Duple (SDD) mobile communication system using millimeter waves, the SDD mobile communication system including a first wireless terminal having a first transmit antenna array having a plurality of first transmit antennas for transmitting a spatially beamformed first transmit beam, and a first receive antenna array having a plurality of first receive antennas for forming a spatially beamformed first receive beam and a second wireless terminal including a second transmit antenna array having a plurality of second transmit antennas for transmitting a spatially beamformed second transmit beam directed towards a receive beam of the first wireless terminal, and a second receive antenna array having a plurality of second receive antennas for forming a spatially beamformed second receive beam directed toward the transmit beam of the first terminal.
Mobile Terminal and Method for Determining Antenna
A mobile terminal and an antenna determining method are provided. The mobile terminal includes a housing, a processor, at least two antennas and at least two pressure sensors. The pressure sensors are configured to acquire values of pressures applied to a surface of the housing and send the acquired pressure values to the processor; the processor is configured to receive pressure values sent by the pressure sensors, to determine at least one contact position between a user and the mobile terminal based on pressure values sent by at least one of one or more first side pressure sensors and at least one of one or more second side pressure sensors, to determine an antenna to receive or send signals from the at least two antennas based on the at least one contact position.
Electronic Device With Millimeter Wave Yagi Antennas
An electronic device may be provided with wireless circuitry. The wireless circuitry may include one or more antennas. The antennas may include phased antenna arrays each of which includes multiple antenna elements. Phased antenna arrays may be formed from printed circuit board Yagi antennas or other antennas. A millimeter wave transceiver may use the antennas to transmit and receive wireless signals. The antennas may be mounted at the corners of an electronic device housing or elsewhere in an electronic device. An electronic device housing may be formed from metal and may have an opening filled with dielectric. The antennas may be aligned with portions of the dielectric. Printed circuit board antennas may have reflectors, radiators, and directors. The reflectors, radiators, and directors may be arranged to align radiation patterns for the antennas with the plastic-filled slots or other dielectric regions in the metal housing.
Electronic Device With Millimeter Wave Antennas on Stacked Printed Circuits
An electronic device may be provided with wireless circuitry. The wireless circuitry may include one or more antennas and transceiver circuitry such as millimeter wave transceiver circuitry. The antennas may be formed from metal traces on a printed circuit. The printed circuit may be a stacked printed circuit including multiple stacked substrates. Metal traces may form an array of patch antennas, Yagi antennas, and other antennas. Antenna signals associated with the antennas may pass through an inactive area in a display and through a dielectric-filled slot in a metal housing for the electronic device. Waveguide structures may be used to guide antenna signals within interior portions of the electronic device.
WIRELESSLY POWERED DISPLAY AND SYSTEM
A wirelessly powered display comprises a substrate, an antenna with multiple turns disposed on the substrate, an electronic circuit disposed on the substrate, and one or more pixels each having one or more inorganic light-emitting diodes disposed on the substrate. The electronic circuit is electrically connected to the one or more inorganic LEDs and the antenna, the antenna is responsive to electromagnetic energy to provide electrical power, and the electronic circuit includes a power converter that converts a signal with a relatively high current and low voltage to a signal with a relatively high voltage and low current. A wirelessly coupled display system includes a device including a wireless power transmitter that provides wireless power within a specified range and one or more wirelessly powered displays located within the range and responsive to the wireless power provided by the device to display an image.
ACOUSTIC FILTER FOR ANTENNAS
Filter circuitry is used in communication systems that employ multiple antennas. In general, a communication system may have a transmit path and a receive path. The transmit path extends to a first antenna port and is configured to present signals for transmission in a first communication band and a second communication band to the first antenna port for transmission via a first antenna that is coupled to the first antenna port. The receive path extends to a second antenna port and comprises a first multiple passband/multiple stopband filter that provides a plurality of passbands and a plurality of stopbands interleaved with one another, wherein a first stopband and a second stopband of the plurality of stopbands correspond respectively to the first communication band and the second communication band and are separated by a first passband of the plurality of passbands.

MULTI-BAND ANTENNA ARRAYS WITH COMMON MODE RESONANCE (CMR) AND DIFFERENTIAL MODE RESONANCE (DMR) REMOVAL
A multi-band radiating array includes a planar reflector, first radiating elements defining a first column on the planar reflector, second radiating elements defining a second column on the planar reflector alongside the first column, and third radiating elements interspersed between the second radiating elements in the second column. The first radiating elements have a first operating frequency range, the second radiating elements have a second operating frequency range that is lower than the first operating frequency range, and the third radiating elements have a third, narrowband operating frequency range that is higher than the second operating frequency range but lower than the first operating frequency range. Respective capacitors are coupled between elongated arm segments and an elongated stalk of the third radiating elements, and a common mode resonance of the third radiating elements is present in a lower frequency range than the second operating frequency range.
