The box structure is positioned around and extends along the terminal axis and defines an interior space. The box structure includes a resilient contact locator that extends from a wall of the box structure into the interior space. The other of the attachment fastener portion and the contact fastener portion is located in the interior space. The contact locator is pre-stressed against the other of the attachment fastener portion and the contact fastener portion. The two-piece male terminal also includes a weld applied between the attachment piece and the contact piece.

The insulating-material housing contains at least one button opening for accommodating an associated operating button, said button opening being open in the direction of an associated conductor insertion opening. The operating button, which is mounted in this button opening such that it can be displaced, forms part of the wall arrangement of the conductor insertion opening. Starting from the mouth section which adjoins the conductor insertion opening, the button opening is widened in the direction of the hack of the button opening, said back being situated opposite the conductor insertion opening. The cross section of the operating button is matched to the widening contour of the button opening.

A terminal-thermistor assembly may include a thermistor and a terminal. The thermistor may include a body encasing a temperature-sensing element. The terminal may include a shaft and a housing disposed on an end of the shaft. The housing may include a cavity, a protrusion extending into the cavity and a cantilevered spring element. The spring element may be resiliently flexible between a first position in which a space between the spring element and the protrusion is less than a thickness of the body of the thermistor and a second position in which the space between the spring element and the protrusion is equal to the thickness of the body. A first surface of the thermistor body may contact the spring element and a second surface of the thermistor body opposite the first surface may contact the protrusion when the body is received within the cavity.
