The hook section passes through the first and second perforations. The first and second carrier boards are inserted in the restriction notch.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD RETENTION BANDS
In some examples, a socket locking system can comprise a socket; a printed circuit board (PCB) card disposed in the socket; a first locking handle and a second locking handle to lock the PCB card in the socket; and a PCB retention band including: an elongated closed loop forming a first distal end and a second distal end opposite from the first distal end, wherein the first distal end is to contact the first locking handle and the second distal end is to contact the second locking handle; and a retention portion coupled to the elongated closed loop of material to contact a top surface of the PCB card to disposition the PCB card in the socket.
Card edge connector assembly
A card edge connector assembly includes a card edge connector having a housing defining a card slot and holding contacts to electrically connect to a pluggable module and a host circuit board. The card edge connector assembly includes a plug guide having a main body including end walls and a side wall defining a cavity receiving the housing of the card edge connector and the pluggable module. The plug guide has first and second alignment channels receiving alignment posts of the pluggable module prior to the card slot receiving the pluggable module to guide mating of the pluggable module with the card edge connector. The plug guide has an exterior being received in a panel opening of a panel. The plug guide including a panel latching feature latchably securing the plug guide to the panel independent of the host circuit board and the card edge connector.
Connector device with connector and assembly method
A connector is disclosed comprising at least one contact clip. The contact clip comprises an electrically conductive substrate having a longitudinal axis, a first terminal located at a first end of the substrate, wherein the first terminal comprises at least two contact tongues between which a longitudinal slot is formed, which contact tongues are elastically deformable with respect to each other in a first direction which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, and a second terminal located at a second end of the substrate. The connector may further comprise a chassis and a PCB. In addition, a device comprising an energy consumer, an electrical energy source, a PCB and at least one connector is disclosed.
Fastening device for connector in automotive light equipment
