FLOATING DAUGHTER CARD SYSTEM AND METHOD
20170162966 · 2017-06-08 ·

A blade includes both a motherboard and daughter card to allow the combined functionality to be incorporated into a single black for size reduction. Standoffs couple the daughter card to the motherboard. Cantilever portions of the motherboard and daughter card exist between the standoffs and terminals of the motherboard and daughter card. The cantilever portions bend to accommodate any misalignment between the terminals of the motherboard and the daughter card and mating connectors of a bulkhead or printed circuit board backplane.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE

The present disclosure provides an electronic device including a casing, a terminal, a substrate, an electric connector, and a conductive adhesive. The terminal is fixed to the casing. The substrate is attached to the casing at a position where at least a portion of the substrate faces the terminal. The electric connector is fixed to a circuit wiring formed in the substrate at a positon where the substrate faces the terminal. The electric connector protrudes toward the terminal from the circuit wiring. The conductive adhesive electrically and mechanically connects the terminal to the electric connector.

Connecting element for mounting an electrical circuit board to a flat electrical conductor

A connecting element for mounting an electrical circuit board to an electrical flat conductor, in particular a busbar, has a flat or substantially flat mounting surface for applying and mounting the connecting element to the circuit board, and a tulip contact for receiving the flat conductor in an electrically contacting manner. The tulip contact includes at least one clamping element and a support element, between which a receptacle for the flat conductor is provided, and wherein the tulip contact preferably extends at a mounting angle greater than 45 and less than 135 with respect to the mounting surface. An electrical circuit board having such a contact element, a terminal block having such an electrical circuit board, and a method for automated mounting of such a terminal block are also provided.

VEHICLE-MOUNTED SENSORLESS MOTOR WITH EDGE-CONNECTED TERMINATION

An apparatus electrically connects a motor's on-board stator circuit board to multiple circuits on a controller circuit board using an edge connector on the controller circuit board that engages opposing pads on an edge of the stator circuit board. The edge connector includes tuning-fork-like conductors each with pairs of protruding arms positioned to both engage the pads for electrical contact and also frictionally engage the pads for mechanical retention. A related method of assembly uses the edge-connect system for quick, reliable and sure assembly even under blind assembly conditions.

CONNECTOR DEVICE

A connection unit (2) of a connector device for connecting at least one electrical conductor to at least one electrically conductive contact has a contact socket (7), a spring clamp (10) and a base plate (14), wherein the contact socket (7) has at least one contact spring (8, 9), wherein the spring clamp (10) has a spring arm (11) with a contact edge (11a) and a contact wall (16). The contact socket (7) and the spring clamp (10) are arranged on the base plate (14) and are electrically conductively connected by the base plate (14). A connector device has at least one connection unit (2) of this type.

Optical assemblies with managed connectivity

An adapter block assembly includes an adapter block, a circuit board arrangement, and a cover attached to the adapter block so that the circuit board arrangement is held to the adapter block by the cover. Contact assemblies can be disposed between the adapter block and the circuit board arrangement. The cover can be latched, heat staked, or otherwise secured to the adapter block. Each component of the adapter block assembly can include one or more parts (e.g., multiple adapter blocks, multiple circuit boards, and/or multiple cover pieces).

EXTENDED CONNECTOR CONTACT FOR MEMORY DEVICES

An extension portion of a solid state memory device printed circuit board provides additional ground shielding. In one example, the printed circuit board includes a main body and a connector contact portion at a first end of the main body. The connector contact portion includes pins and an extension portion that provides ground shielding to the pins. Ground pins may be connected to the extension portion by through hole vias. The connector contact portion may be connected to an SFF-8639 port.
