Connection apparatus, network board connection system, and communications device
A connection apparatus includes: a housing case, where the housing case includes a first side face and a second side face that are intersected and disposed adjacent to each other; a first connector, disposed on the first side face and configured to be connected to a connector of a first line card, so that the connection apparatus is orthogonally connected to the first line card; and a second connector, disposed on the second side face and connected to the first connector. The second connector is configured to be connected to a connector of a network board. The connection apparatus can improve a capacity of the communications device.
Board-to-board connector with alignment features
An electrical connector assembly includes a male/plug/first connector and a female/receptacle/second connector mateable with each other. The first connector includes a first plate and a plurality of first contacts retained to the first plate, and the second connector includes a second plate and a plurality of second contacts retained to the second plate. The first plate includes opposite first long side and second long side to respectively form a first alignment structure and a second alignment structure which is offset from the first alignment structure in the longitudinal direction. The second plate includes opposite third long and fourth long side to respectively form a third alignment structure and a fourth alignment structure to be coupled to the corresponding first alignment structure and second alignment structure during mating.
Card edge connector with protective cover
A card edge connector is adapted to allow an electronic module to insert and comprises an elongated insulating housing and a plurality of conductive terminals. The insulating housing has two side walls which are spaced apart from each other, the two side walls together define a card edge insertion groove which has an opening. The card edge connector further comprises a covering member which is correspondingly mounted to the terminal mounting wall, the covering member has a body and a tongue portion which is connected to the body and has flexibility, the body is mounted to the top surface of the terminal mounting wall, the tongue portion at least partially covers the opening of the card edge insertion groove, when the electronic module is inserted into the card edge insertion groove, the tongue portion contacts the electronic module and flexes toward the card edge insertion groove.
Plug connector
A plug connector provides an electrical connection to a conductor track connection of a printed circuit board. The plug connector has a first printed circuit board with a conductor track connection and a plugging region for plugging the printed circuit board into the plug connector. The plugging region extends parallel to the first printed circuit board. A contact element and/or a spring element is provided in the plug connector. The plugging region and the contact element and/or the spring element are arranged in such a way that, in a plugged state of the plug connector, the printed circuit board which is plugged into the plugging region is arranged parallel to the printed circuit board and the conductor track connection is arranged opposite the conductor track connection. An electrical connection of the conductor track connection to the conductor track connection is provided by the contact element and/or the spring element.
M2 CONNECTOR WITH INCREASED AMPACITY
Disclosed embodiments include a modified M.2 interface that is configured to allow an increased current capacity on power-carrying pins. The power-carrying pins are implemented using an alloy that can sustain current levels in excess of those specified in the M.2 standard while remaining within M.2 standard specified temperature limits. Sockets and corresponding cards in embodiments are modified so that a card requiring the higher current capacity cannot fit into a legacy M.2 standard socket, while a legacy M.2 card can fit into a modified high current M.2 socket. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Input/output transmission interface assembly and motherboard module including thereof
An input/output transmission interface assembly capable of being assembled on a motherboard includes a first transmission interface, a board-to-board connector, and a second transmission interface. The first transmission interface includes a first circuit board, a first electrical connector, a driving chip, and a plug portion. The plug portion is at one side of the first circuit board for being plugged into the motherboard. The second transmission interface includes a second circuit board and a second electrical connector. The second circuit board is substantially parallel to the first circuit board. The board-to-board connector is assembled on and between the first circuit board and the second circuit board. The first circuit board and the second circuit board are electrically connected with each other through the board-to-board connector.
Power connector
A power connector for an aircraft solid state power controller includes a first portion including a socket configured for receiving an electric plug, which is inserted into the socket in a receiving direction (R). The controller also includes a second portion comprising a connection surface configured for mating with a complementary connection surface of a complementary connection element. At least one opening is formed within the connection surface.
Modular electronic building systems with magnetic interconnections and methods of using the same
Electrical connectors, electrical modules, and systems are provided. In one aspect, an electrical connector includes a housing defining a side surface, an electrical conductor supported by the housing and including an engagement portion proximate the side surface of the housing. The engagement portion is adapted to engage another electrical conductor of another electrical connector. The connector also includes a magnet supported by the housing proximate the side surface of the housing, a projection extending from the side surface of the housing, and a receptacle defined in the side surface of the housing. In other aspects, an electrical module includes at least one of these electrical connectors. In further aspects, a system includes a plurality of these modules and the modules are selectively couplable together.
CONNECTION MODULE AND THINNING METHOD THEREOF
A connection module is disposed in a main circuit board and includes a card edge connector, a hard circuit board and two connectors. The card edge connector is fixedly disposed on the main circuit board. The hard circuit board has a board body and a connecting tongue for correspondingly plugging with the card edge connector. The board body is configured with a disconnecting notch, and the board body is separated by the disconnecting notch into two floating plates arranged side by side at an interval and floatable using the disconnecting notch. The connectors are respectively fixed to the floating plates. Thus, without needing an additional guide frame, the connectors are enabled to float in any desired direction, thereby achieving effects of reducing an overall height and satisfying current thinning requirements.
