An electrical connector is used to be electrically connected to a mating component. The electrical connector includes one or more shielding members, forming multiple receiving holes; and multiple terminals, including at least one signal terminal and at least one ground terminal correspondingly accommodated in the receiving holes. The ground terminal has a mating portion upward abutting the mating component, an elastic portion pressed vertically to elastically deform, and a positioning portion having a cross-section in a circular shape. The positioning portion and the shielding members are conductively connected to each other by at least three conductive portions, and the three conductive portions are provided to form a triangle. An insulating block is between the signal terminal and a corresponding shielding member to be accommodated in a corresponding receiving hole. The positioning portion with a circular cross-section has a larger area when the volume of the receiving hole remains unchanged.

The interface member on its other end acts upon a cylindrical sphere or ball captured with the other end of the sleeve member. The ball is movable axially and rotationally within the sleeve to make electrical and mechanical contact with an external surface which may be either movable with respect to the ball or not perpendicular to the ball. The connector is formed to direct current to pass primarily through the sleeve and to bypass the spring.

The present disclosure relates to implantable neuromodulation devices and methods of fabrication, and in particular to a separable high density connectors for implantable neuromodulation devices. Particularly, aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a medical device comprising an electronics module and a header for connecting the electronics module to a lead assembly. The header includes: a housing that includes (i) a cavity having a central axis or plane and an internal surface, and (ii) an opening aligned with the central axis or plane of the cavity, an array of retractable contacts extending from the internal surface towards the central axis or plane of the cavity, and an array of connection terminals on the housing, where each connection terminal of the array of connection terminals is: (i) electrically connected to the electronics module, and (ii) electrically connectable to a retractable contact of the array of retractable contacts.

A terminal is to be connected to a mating terminal having a flat surface portion. The terminal includes a conductive main body having an abutment surface, an annular terminal spring, the annular terminal spring being held on the abutment surface and a fastener holding the annular terminal spring on the abutment surface. The fastener includes a main body shaft being inserted into a central space of the annular terminal spring, a first end of the main body shaft being fixed to the conductive main body, and a plurality of arm portions extending outward in a radial direction of the fastener from a second end of the main body shaft, the second end being opposite to the first end, the plurality of arm portions being configured to hold the annular terminal spring at a contacting portion of the annular terminal spring, the contacting portion contacting the abutment surface.

When the cylindrical part (51) is sandwiched between a first pin (11) and an intermediate member (13) of the corresponding contact unit (10), the waterproof elastic member (50) seals between the first pin (11) and the intermediate member (13) in a watertight manner while allowing the contact unit (10) to penetrate. The waterproof elastic member (50) includes, between the cylindrical parts (51) that are adjacent to each other, a water-shielding structure (52) for preventing the first pins (11) of the contact units (10) corresponding to the adjacent cylindrical parts from being electrically connected due to presence of water between the first pins (11).

The present invention relates to a cavity filter and a connecting structure included therein. The cavity filter includes: an RF signal connecting portion spaced apart, by a predetermined distance, from an outer member having an electrode pad provided on a surface thereof; and a terminal portion configured to electrically connect the electrode pad of the outer member and the RF signal connecting portion so as to absorb assembly tolerance existing at the predetermined distance and to prevent disconnection of the electric flow between the electrode pad and the RF signal connecting portion, wherein the terminal portion includes: a first side terminal contacted with the electrode pad; and a second side terminal having a housing space in which a part of the first side terminal is housed, and connected to the RF signal connecting portion, wherein the first side terminal is provided as an elastic deformable body whose part is radially widened or narrowed against an assembly force provided by an assembler. Therefore, the cavity filter can efficiently absorb assembly tolerance which occurs through assembly design, and prevent disconnection of an electric flow, thereby preventing degradation in performance of an antenna device.

Method and apparatus for testing of the downhole connector electrical system during installation

Disclosed are methods and devices for testing downhole connector electrical systems and cable integrity during installation of a permanent completion, including a customized retrievable plug arm assembly connectable to the completion during RIH, the tool mimicking a retrievable ESP, but without motor, and can be employed with or without pressure isolation. Another method employs a slidable starpoint located within the downhole wet mate connector of the completion to provide continuous electrical contact between the phases when no retrievable assembly is in place. When a retrievable assembly is later put in place, the slidable starpoint is moved into a second position that no longer provides electrical contact between the phases. Another method uses fusible links installed between two conductors within the downhole electrical connector system of the completion to provide similar electrical contact between phases, the fusible link configured to melt away once motor current is sent through the conductors.

Connector

A connector for electrical connection between a wire and a conductive load includes a housing and an elastic conductive component having a portion extending through the housing. The elastic conductive component is connectable to the wire. The elastic conductive component is movable up and down relative to the housing to connect with or separate from the conductive load, electrically connecting or disconnecting an electrical connection between the wire and the conductive load.
