Watch module connector
11385601 · 2022-07-12 ·

A wrist-wearable device comprises a module connector for enabling the connection of modules while the wrist-wearable device remains actively worn by a user. Several connectors can be devised following a similar set of rules that provide mechanical, electrical and possibly sealing connectivity between a wrist-wearable device and a module while still being operable with one hand by their users. Locking features and mechanisms and corresponding non-trivial, yet one-hand operable unlocking mechanisms for module release can be used to secure modules against wrist-wearable devices. Such a connector system as applied to a watch enables watch functionality to be extended and/or enhanced without requiring replacement of the watch itself while still offering users an effective user experience that enables them to connect and disconnect modules throughout the day without having to take their watch off.

Port locking actuator device for vehicle inlet

A locking pin driving mechanism includes a motor, a preceding gear, a round gear, a feed screw and a slider. The feed screw is coaxially fixed to the round gear. A locking pin is mounted in the slider. A center axis of the locking pin and a center axis of the feed screw are each disposed in parallel with a center axis of a vehicle inlet. An interaxial distance between the center axis of the vehicle inlet and the center axis of the feed screw is set to be larger than an interaxial distance between the center axis of the vehicle inlet and the center axis of the locking pin.

Contact probe and inspection socket provided with contact probe

A contact probe can be easily mass-produced, reduce manufacturing cost, and obtain a stable contact state with an electrode such as a land of an inspection substrate. An inspection socket can be provided with the contact probe. The contact probe has a first contact terminal that contacts a solder ball of a device under test and a second contact terminal that contacts a land of a printed substrate, and a coil spring for urging contact terminals so as to separate the first and the second terminals. The first contact terminal is constituted by a first contact element formed by a rod-shaped metal member, and the second contact terminal is constituted by two second contact elements formed by a plate-shaped metal member and which clamp the first contact element in frictional contact with a part of the first contact element.
