Electrical connector
An electrical connector comprising an insulative housing and a retainer assembled into the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a mating face and a mounting face opposite to each other, and comprises a plurality of passageways passing through thereof along a front-and-back direction for receiving corresponding contacts and a receiving cavity recessed backwards from the mating face. The retainer is provided with a plurality of first latching portions and a plurality of second latching portions, and the first latching portions and the second latching portions are staggered along the front-and-back direction, the retainer is assembled and locked in the insulative housing without dropping out of the insulative housing via the first latching portions; after the contacts assembled into the insulative housing, the retainer is pushed towards the mounting face by an external force, until the second latching portions locked in receiving cavity.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY HAVING A MALE BLADE STABILIZER WITH INTEGRATED PRIMARY LOCK REINFORCEMENT
An electrical connector assembly includes a connector body defining a terminal cavity therein and a male terminal projecting along a terminal axis to a tip and secured within the terminal cavity by a primary lock feature. The electrical connector assembly also includes a terminal stabilizer defining an aperture that is disposed within the connector body and is moveable from a pre-staged position to a staged position. The electrical connector assembly further includes a primary lock retaining feature that is integrated with the terminal stabilizer and is configured to engage the primary lock feature as the terminal stabilizer moves from the pre-staged position to the staged position.
Male terminal, male connector, jig and method for assembling male connector
A male terminal 10 is provided with a terminal body 15 including a tab 40 extending forward, and a cover 16 slidable between a protection position for accommodating the tab 14 inside a sheath portion 24 and a retracted position for exposing a front end part of the tab 14 from a front end of the sheath portion 24, and the cover 16 is made of a magnetic material.
TERMINAL
A female terminal 12 includes a terminal body 15 and a slider 16. The terminal body 15 includes an upper connecting piece 18A and a lower connecting piece 18B connected to a core wire 13 of an electric wire 11. The slider 16 is movable in a front-rear direction relative to the terminal body 15. The slider 16 includes an upper abutting portion 25A and a lower abutting portion 25B. The upper connecting piece 18A includes an upper protrusion 51A that abuts against the upper abutting portion 25A. The lower connecting piece 18B includes a lower protrusion 51B that abuts against the lower abutting portion 25B.
Electrical connector
An electrical connector comprises a plurality of conductive terminals, a housing and a holder. The housing has a plurality of terminal receiving grooves which extend forwardly from a rear end face of the housing and receive the terminals respectively and a locking structure which is formed to a top surface of the housing. The holder is provided to the housing, the holder has a transverse frame portion which extends in a transverse direction, a plurality of positioning arms which obliquely extend downwardly and forwardly from the frame portion and are respectively inserted into the grooves, and a lock plate portion which extends forwardly from a top of the frame portion to above a top surface of the housing and has elasticity, the arms respectively position the terminals along slopes inside the grooves, the lock plate portion has a lock structure which is locked with a locking structure of the housing.
Connector
In order to eliminate the need to provide a connector including a side retainer with an additional waterproof seal for the side retainer, the connector includes a terminal holder in which the side retainer is mounted, and the terminal holder is configured to define access passages such that a tool for moving the side retainer between first and second positions can be inserted into an inlet of the terminal holder so as to reach inclined cam surfaces of the side retainer and move the side retainer.
Power connector
The present disclosure relates to a power connector which comprises an insulative housing and a terminal. The insulative housing defines a terminal receiving groove therein and comprises a stopping wall. The terminal is positioned in the terminal receiving groove and comprises a mating portion, a stopping portion and a wire connecting portion. The stopping portion abuts against the stopping wall and comprises a first horizontal portion and a second horizontal portion. The first horizontal portion comprises a first front end edge. The second horizontal portion comprises a second front end edge. A portion of a front end of the first horizontal portion and a portion of a front end of the second horizontal portion are cut off, therefore when the terminal clamps the wire, the first front end edge and the second front end edge do not splay forwardly and outwardly to protrude forwardly, but are parallel to each other or respectively extend backwardly, which thus can avoid the first front end edge and the second front end edge of the stopping portion from abutting against the stopping wall first due to the protruding.
Electrical connector with two types of connector terminals and a spacer inserted into a housing
In a connector, a spacer includes lock parts and regulation parts. Each of the lock parts locks a first terminal in a first terminal receiving slot after the first terminal is inserted into a proper position in the first terminal receiving slot. Each of the regulation parts regulates deformation of a second lance toward a release position when the second lance is located in a lock position in which the second lance locks a second terminal in a second terminal receiving slot after the second terminal is inserted into a proper position in the second terminal receiving slot.
ELECTRICAL PLUG-IN CONNECTOR, INSULATING PROTECTIVE ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING AN ELECTRICAL PLUG-IN CONNECTOR
An electrical plug-in connector includes an internal conductor contact element, an external conductor contact element and an insulating protective element arranged between the internal conductor contact element and the external conductor contact element. The external conductor contact element may have a recess for providing an assembly access point for fastening the internal conductor contact element to an internal conductor of an electrical cable. The insulating protective element can be displaced between an assembly position, in which the assembly access point is cleared through the assembly recess to the internal conductor contact element, and an insulating protection position, in which the assembly access point to the internal conductor contact element is blocked by the insulating protective element.
