Electrical connector with seal protection
An electrical connector includes first and second housing portions that are secured to one another and respectively provide an aperture and a hole. The aperture is configured to receive a terminal of a wire. The hole is configured to receive the wire. The first housing portion includes a face that is configured to mate with another connector that carries another terminal that is engageable with the terminal. A seal is captured between the first and second housing portions and is configured to engage the other connector.
Connector
A connector includes a housing and a holder. The housing includes a terminal housing chamber housing a terminals and a support portion in which a first locking portion for locking the holder in the temporary locking position is formed. The holder is mounted on the housing so as to be movable in a fitting direction of the housing and a mating housing between a temporary locking position and a main locking position. The holder is configured to be immovable from the temporary locking position to the main locking position when the terminal inserted into the terminal housing chamber is in a halfway insertion position and is configured to be movable from the temporary locking position to the main locking position when the terminal is in a normal insertion position.
Cable assembly with strain relief
A cable assembly includes a cable, a connector-body, a cable-seal, and a retainer. The connector-body is attached to the cable. The cable-seal is disposed within the connector-body and surrounds the cable. The cable-seal is configured to inhibit entry of a contaminant into the connector-body. The retainer is in direct contact with the cable, the connector-body and the cable-seal. The retainer is configured to retain the cable-seal within the connector-body. The retainer is configured to be installed onto the cable and is attached to the connector-body. The retainer contains cable-clamps mounted to a pair of opposed inclined-surfaces located on an inner-surface of the retainer. The cable-clamps include inclined-ramps configured to engage the inclined-surfaces. The inclined-ramps move along the inclined-surfaces, thereby causing the cable-clamps to impart a radial-force normal to the cable when the retainer is attached to the connector-body.
Socket-shaped housing, connector, and connector arrangement with cable support
An electrical connector assembly is disclosed having a socket-shaped housing with a cable receiving end and an opposing support facing end, a plug connector receiving space, and a flange positioned on the support facing end. A cable collar is positioned in the plug connector receiving space and supported by the housing, and has at least one cable receiving space. At least one cable is secured in the cable receiving space.
Connector
In order to eliminate the need to provide a connector including a side retainer with an additional waterproof seal for the side retainer, the connector includes a terminal holder in which the side retainer is mounted, and the terminal holder is configured to define access passages such that a tool for moving the side retainer between first and second positions can be inserted into an inlet of the terminal holder so as to reach inclined cam surfaces of the side retainer and move the side retainer.
CONNECTOR HOUSING
This connector housing includes a housing body, terminal accommodating chambers provided, in the housing body, in a plurality of stages in the vertical direction; and lances for locking a terminal when the terminal is inserted from the rear into a terminal accommodating chamber. The lances are provided on the lower side in the upper terminal accommodating chamber and on the upper side in the lower terminal accommodating chamber, and are provided at a distance from each other in the lateral direction when viewed from above.
MALE TERMINAL, MALE CONNECTOR, JIG AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING MALE CONNECTOR
A male terminal 10 is provided with a terminal body 15 including a tab 40 extending forward, and a cover 16 slidable between a protection position for accommodating the tab 14 inside a sheath portion 24 and a retracted position for exposing a front end part of the tab 14 from a front end of the sheath portion 24, and the cover 16 is made of a magnetic material.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector comprises a plurality of conductive terminals, a housing and a holder. The housing has a plurality of terminal receiving grooves which extend forwardly from a rear end face of the housing and receive the terminals respectively and a locking structure which is formed to a top surface of the housing. The holder is provided to the housing, the holder has a transverse frame portion which extends in a transverse direction, a plurality of positioning arms which obliquely extend downwardly and forwardly from the frame portion and are respectively inserted into the grooves, and a lock plate portion which extends forwardly from a top of the frame portion to above a top surface of the housing and has elasticity, the arms respectively position the terminals along slopes inside the grooves, the lock plate portion has a lock structure which is locked with a locking structure of the housing.
CONNECTOR
In a connector, a spacer includes lock parts and regulation parts. Each of the lock parts locks a first terminal in a first terminal receiving slot after the first terminal is inserted into a proper position in the first terminal receiving slot. Each of the regulation parts regulates deformation of a second lance toward a release position when the second lance is located in a lock position in which the second lance locks a second terminal in a second terminal receiving slot after the second terminal is inserted into a proper position in the second terminal receiving slot.
POWER CONNECTOR
The present disclosure relates to a power connector which comprises an insulative housing and a terminal. The insulative housing defines a terminal receiving groove therein and comprises a stopping wall. The terminal is positioned in the terminal receiving groove and comprises a mating portion, a stopping portion and a wire connecting portion. The stopping portion abuts against the stopping wall and comprises a first horizontal portion and a second horizontal portion. The first horizontal portion comprises a first front end edge. The second horizontal portion comprises a second front end edge. A portion of a front end of the first horizontal portion and a portion of a front end of the second horizontal portion are cut off, therefore when the terminal clamps the wire, the first front end edge and the second front end edge do not splay forwardly and outwardly to protrude forwardly, but are parallel to each other or respectively extend backwardly, which thus can avoid the first front end edge and the second front end edge of the stopping portion from abutting against the stopping wall first due to the protruding.
