PLUG CONNECTOR SLIDABLY INSERTED INTO RECEPTACLE CONNECTOR
A plug connector according to the present invention is slidably inserted into a receptacle connector, and includes a signal pin having one side in electrical contact with one side of a signal line of a cable; a shield can electrically spaced apart from the signal pin and surrounding the signal pin such that a lower surface of the other side of the signal pin is exposed; a first insulating member coupled to the signal pin to insulate the signal pin and the shield can from each other; and a plug shell surrounding the shield can such that the lower surface of the other side of the signal pin is exposed.
Communication connector
A communication connector (10) includes a plurality of wires (11A to 11C, 12A, 12B, 13, 14) for transmitting communication signals, a plurality of terminals (20) connected to the respective wires (11A to 11C, 12A, 12B, 13, 14), a housing (30) for accommodating the respective terminals (20), and a conductive shield wall portion (40) arranged between the plurality of wires (11A to 11C, 12A, 12B, 13, 14).

Electrical connector
An electrical connector includes: terminal pairs to which wire pairs are attached; a terminal holding part made of insulating material and holding the terminal pairs; an outer shell made of electric conductive material and accommodating the terminal holding part and end portions of the wire pairs; a fitting part fitted to a counter connector; and a shield member disposed in the outer shell and made of electric conductive material. The shield member includes wire separation walls twisted around the axial center of the shield member. The wire separation walls separate the wire pairs for each wire pair, and two insulated wires of each wire pair are curved in the same direction as each other.
SHIELDED ELECTRIC CONNECTOR
A shielded electrical connector is provided, comprising a plurality of wire elements, a plurality of wire element sheaths, an outer shielding sleeve, at least one inner shielding sleeve, a connector housing for accommodating terminal members, a shield divider for defining at least two shielding sectors, wherein the first subset of wire elements is extended into a first shielding sector and a second subset of wire elements is extended into a second shielding sector, at least one sealing insert for being arranged in one of the shielding sectors for sealing off a cable side from a connector side in the area of the shield divider, and an electrically conductive shielding bridge for electrically connecting the outer shielding sleeve to the at least one inner shielding sleeve and to the shield divider.
SHIELDED ELECTRIC CONNECTOR
A shielded electrical connector is provided, comprising a plurality of wire elements, a plurality of wire element sheaths, an outer shielding sleeve, at least one inner shielding sleeve, a connector housing for accommodating terminal members, a shield divider for defining at least two shielding sectors, wherein the first subset of wire elements is extended into a first shielding sector and a second subset of wire elements is extended into a second shielding sector, at least one sealing insert for being arranged in one of the shielding sectors for sealing off a cable side from a connector side in the area of the shield divider, and an electrically conductive shielding bridge for electrically connecting the outer shielding sleeve to the at least one inner shielding sleeve and to the shield divider.
Electrical connector having contact modules
An electrical connector includes a connector housing having a mating end at a front of the connector housing configured to be mating with a mating electrical connector. The connector housing includes a contact module chamber. An electrical connector includes a stack of contact modules received in the contact module chamber. Each contact module includes a module body holding a plurality of contacts. The contacts have mating ends at the mating end of the connector housing for mating with the mating electrical connector; and an electrical connector includes a contact module biasing members between the contact modules and the connector housing to forward bias the contact modules in the contact module chamber, wherein the contact module biasing members are compressible to allow the contact modules to move independent from each other relative to the connector housing in the contact module chamber when mating with the mating electrical connector.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR HAVING CONTACT MODULES
An electrical connector includes a connector housing having a mating end at a front of the connector housing configured to be mating with a mating electrical connector. The connector housing includes a contact module chamber. An electrical connector includes a stack of contact modules received in the contact module chamber. Each contact module includes a module body holding a plurality of contacts. The contacts have mating ends at the mating end of the connector housing for mating with the mating electrical connector; and an electrical connector includes a contact module biasing members between the contact modules and the connector housing to forward bias the contact modules in the contact module chamber, wherein the contact module biasing members are compressible to allow the contact modules to move independent from each other relative to the connector housing in the contact module chamber when mating with the mating electrical connector.
Ground structure for a cable card assembly of an electrical connector
A cable card assembly for an electrical connector includes a circuit card having upper and lower surfaces and extending between a cable end and a mating end with mating conductors at the mating end and cable conductors at the cable end. Cables are terminated to the circuit card that include signal conductors, ground shields surrounding the corresponding signal conductors, and drain wires electrically connected to the corresponding ground shields. The signal conductors are terminated to corresponding cable conductors. The cable card assembly includes a ground block separate and discrete from the circuit card and coupled to the circuit card. The ground block includes drain wire channels receiving corresponding drain wires. The ground block is electrically conductive to electrically connect the drain wires.
High performance cable connector assembly
Connector assemblies that may be used to connect a cable to one or more contact tails of an electrical connector are disclosed. Some connector assemblies may include a wire extending from a cable and attached to an edge of a contact tail of a signal conductor. At least a portion of the wire may be flattened to form a planar surface that is attached to a corresponding planar surface of the edge of the contact tail. Moreover, some connector assemblies may include a wire extending from a cable that is attached to an edge of a contact tail via a metallurgical bond extending along at least a portion of an attachment interface between the wire and the contact tail.
