SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION
20230023944 · 2023-01-26 ·

Systems and methods for authenticating users are described herein. One or more inputs including of biometric data, physical trait data, and other data sources may be collected passively when an individual is present in a space. A confidence ratio associated with one or more of the collected inputs may be determined. One or more of the determined confidence ratios may be evaluated together to determine a final confidence ratio for a user, on which an authentication decision is based. An access level may be selected from a plurality of access levels with different access privileges based on the determined confidence ratio. Authentication may be continuous or ongoing.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MEASURING HUMAN MILK PRODUCTION
20230022106 · 2023-01-26 · ·

A breast milk flow monitoring system in the form of a milk flow monitoring sensor is described and includes an array of electrodes and a controller. The electrodes include electrically conductive surfaces that are arranged to contact a skin surface of a breast. The controller generates a first excitation signal that is communicated via the first electrode to a first location on the breast, and generates a second excitation signal that is communicated via the first electrode to the first location on the breast. The controller receives a first current response signal and a second current response signal. A bio-impedance spectroscopic analysis of the first current response signal and the second current response signal is executed, wherein the bio-impedance spectroscopic analysis is calibrated for breast milk flow. A breast milk flow parameter is determined based upon the bio-impedance spectroscopic analysis.

The garment comprises a plurality of layers of fabric, one or more fabric-based sensors configured to detect the changes to at least one layer of fabric, a plurality of conductive nodes electrically coupled to one or more locations on a fabric-based sensor among the one or more fabric-based sensors, and a processor electrically connected to the plurality of nodes. The changes in the fabric-based sensor is detected by measuring signals between at least two nodes among the plurality of nodes. The processor is configured to obtain data measured from the at least two nodes among the plurality of nodes and transmit the data to the user device. The user device is configured to receive data from the processor and process the data.

WEARABLE ARTICLE, ELECTRONIC MODULE, SYSTEM AND METHOD
20230014669 · 2023-01-19 ·

A wearable article comprising: a first biosensor; an erasable and programmable memory configured to store information relating to the wearable article and/or the first biosensor; and an interface for connection to an electronic module. The interface is configured to permit the transfer of information between the memory and an electronic module connected to the interface. The electronic module is able to read information from the memory and write information to the memory via the interface. The memory may have a single-wire input-output interface. The information may comprise wearable article size information. The wearable article size information may be used to determine a compensation that should be performed to sensor data received from the wearable article to compensate for electrical properties of the wearable article.

A SYSTEM FOR ASSESSING HUMAN MOVEMENT AND BALANCE

Systems and methods for assessing, monitoring, or theranosing a condition or disorder based on a comparison of limb stability for one or more limbs of a subject from a baseline. The method includes placing two or more inertial measurement sensors on the limbs of the subject, acquiring baseline limb excursion data from the inertial measurement sensors while a patient is performing at least one of a static balance activity and a dynamic balance activity by tracking the relative displacement of the respective two or more inertial measurement sensors; acquiring post-injury limb excursion data after an injury from the inertial measurement sensors while a patient is performing at least one of a static balance activity and a dynamic balance activity; and determining the activity clearance index as a function of a comparison of the baseline limb excursion data compared to the post-injury limb excursion data.

CONDUCTIVE HUMAN INTERFACES

A conductive human interface has a fabric layer with an interior surface and an exterior surface. A soft coating overlies the interior surface of the fabric layer. An electrode or sensor is included to connect with a user. A conductive path connects the electrode or sensor with an electrical connector which, in turn connects with a prosthetic or other assistive device. The conductive path includes a conductor having a section overlying the fabric layer. The overlying section of the conductor can be cord of conductive thread. A nonconductive support thread can extend through the fabric layer from the exterior surface to the interior surface, and further around the conductor to secure the overlying section of the conductor to the fabric layer.

CONNECTOR
